I'm finding myself listening to this band quite a lot. They were formed in the late 1970s by Paul Humphreys and Andy McClusky for a single called "Electricity." A year later they released the dance hit "Enola Gay" which was named after a plane that dropped a bomb. In America they are known for the song "If You Leave" from the movie Pretty In Pink. Other hits included "Souvenir", "Tesla Girls" and "Maid of Orleans" which was the best selling single of 1982 in Germany. You could easily compare them to Kraftwerk, Tears For Fears, Erasure and Pet Shop Boys. So has anybody heard of this group before? They had moderate success in the 1980s before Andy formed OMD again with other musicians.

Thanks for your valuable insight into the music of OMD. Anyway, there's already a section for advertising.

This topic is not spam. Surly members are entitled to talk about a band they like? I like this band but others may not. So what?
