What is the scariest game you have played so far?

i would have to say the mansion near the beach part of vampire the masquerade bloodlines, the atmosphere in that place is amazing for a game, and the way how they use sounds and visuals make it feel like an actually haunted building.

Project Zero, by far. Gore and zombies don't freak me out that much in a game, but Project Zero can make you jump when you play it the first time, freaky game xD

Silent Hill 3 was pretty creepy. Um. Not many things are as scary though as a crazy infected villager with a chainsaw running behind you, and all you can here is the hum of the engine in Resident Evil Four

Project Zero II. The whole atmosphere of it. I've almost finished the game and so far it's been amazing, I love a good scare. ^_^ IT is pretty darn freaky though, so I need to see the 1st Zero too. Silent Hill, Resi Evil and Alone in the Dark 4 are also scaryish.

Also, I thought Forbidden siren was VERY scare too, psychological like Project Zero. I recommend them to you all. =P

Project Zero II or Fatal Frame II depending on where you live. I'm such a wimp I actually haven't gotten that far in the game at all. Gawd damn I freak out so easily playing that game xD

Silent Hill 3! No question, the only game that made me want to shut it off and stop playing for a couple of days. Never got to beat it, though. Stupid kid I borrowed it from got all greedy and took it back....Dammit, I hate you, Steve.

Resident Evil 3:Nemesis, that game freaks me out so much, I can remember I was running around racoon city for like 10minutes trying to shake Nemesis off before I quickluy shut it off, gave me nightmares for a week ;__;

Yep Resident Evil was by far the scariest game i have played. It freaked the crap out of me, especially the Nemesis and then this one dog part where they jumped through the windows oh man that was bad.

okay the scariest game experience ive ever had was when i wa playing Resident Evil 4 and i was clearing a village of those damned dirt farmers and i thought all was well but i turned about to walk off and a chainsaw guy literally came from no-where and cut my head of instantly, its not the fact that a chainsaw wielding douche came after me that scared me it was just the suprise of him being there......that damn douche

Personally, I don't know what's so scary about the Silent Hill games apart from the unsettling environments and screwball antagonists. I used to like the games, but now I find them rather boring. Obscure on the other hand, is a different story. I hope they make that into a franchise.

Metal Gear Solid 2.When you are trying to get to Shell 2 and the guy pisses on you for like 5 hours?That was scary.Also when you are in the Arsenal Gear and Raiden is naked...Resident Evil can't do that.

Silent Hill 4 - The Room

With the lights out and everybody out of the house in the early hours of the morning this game could make you VERY claustraphobic.

i think they copied the ring with the demented little chinese girl in it. yeah some parts are freacky.

condemened is messed up though youre flash light runs out of batteries your stuck in the dark with a board with nails through it waiting for it to recahrge.a creature rapped in cellophane crawls buy you and the controller vibrates you look down nothings there. wack youre dicapeted with in one minute with an axe to the neck. thats what sucks about that game you get stuck in a room thats nothing from safe and get youre head cut off with out knowing it.

The only horror game I've play is RE4 lol. It scared me when that body guard thing attacks you in the sewer and you need to run to the elavator, and the leech thingies with the spikes scare me alot... The game just looks so pretty and everything that you can't help but be scared a little bit by the grotesque images in it...
