A 15-year-old girl has been stabbed in the head by another teenager at a Surrey school. Natasha Jackman, 15, is believed to have been attacked with scissors while she stood in the dinner queue at Collingwood College, Camberley.
She is believed to be in a comfortable condition at Frimley Park Hospital and is awaiting surgery.
Police say a 15-year-old girl had been arrested and taken to Woking police station in Surrey for questioning.
It is understood Natasha was waiting in the school canteen when a group of pupils started taunting her about her long hair.
Her father, Humperdinck Jackman, described the moment he saw his daughter after the attack. He said: "She was covered in blood. Her hair was caked.
"She has an injury to her left eye."
He added that it was not the first time she had been bullied - but the college insisted the attack was an isolated incident.
Mr Jackman said the gang had warned his daughter: "We are going to give you a haircut or we are going to set your hair on fire."
When she stood up to the fellow pupils she was stabbed with what appeared to be a pair of scissors, Mr Jackman said.
He added: "According to Natasha there was only one teacher in the area and they were trying to deal with a fight elsewhere in the cafeteria."
Police described the injuries as serious but not life threatening and said that the victim was not receiving intensive care treatment.
A police helicopter search for another suspect has been called off for the night. It is believed they will resume their search on Friday.

We learnt about this in law, someone brought it up during a discussion.
It's pretty darn awful, poor girl. I hate bullys, so mean!! @__@ What teenagers/school kids do these days, I hope those bullies get.....their commupence. [sp =P]
That's really screwed up. I mean why would you STAB someone because they have long hair? Those people who stabbed her obviously have got some issues, like seriously. Did they do it purposely though? I'm thinking yes but just wanna make sure. Cause well.... why would you do something like that? And there was only ONE teacher who was busy solving another fight? Heh. Good thing she wasn't severly injured though.
(There's such thing as a 5-string bass? Hmmmm.... didn't know that, but cool. And nothing THAT funny about "Jackman". Well... kinda funny I guess, xP).
teenagers nowadays are animals.... sad but true. Ironic enough, i am a teenager myself..

I saw this on Newsround this Morning (and with it being on Newsround and the fact I was only half-awake it took awhile to sink in) but uh-huh, I find that ****ing disgraceful. If it's not stabbing someone for racists terms or the fact they're old or not wearing anything by Kappa, it's stabbing them for their hair. THEIR HAIR!? What the ****? If you wanna stab someone for their hair, why don't you just hold it in and become a hairdresser rather than attacking people with long hair?
I'm serious. Hairdressers are paid to cut it, so if you hate hair length you may aswell become one of those. But on the other side I feel awful for this girl's family. They've got to be angry and sad about that. It's the worst excuse I've ever heard to kill someone.

yeah she was stabbed near the eye. back of the head, chest, back, near the eye and somewhere else I can't remember, its probably in the news report in my first post.

I think it's disgusting. The group of girls doubtless went out with the intention of doing it ~ why else would you take a pair of scissors with you to lunch. From what I've heard 3 girls were arrested (yesterday, that is) I hope they get their dues ( If it was them that did it that is D: ) From what I understand she had emergency surgery on her eye and was lucky not to loose it. I think it's horrid.
Its just the stupid mentality of some people nowadays. And its because of political correctness - if you think about it - if we were allowed to throw charvs into a big pit of fire, then this problem wouldn't have arisen!
Wait she was stabbed FIVE times? So like they stabbed her once and kept doing it because of her HAIR? I mean stabbing her at ALL just because her hair is long (and making fun because her hair is long is pretty sad in itself), but FIVE times? Dude that's pretty bad. Like I seriously think those people (were they all girls?) have something wrong with them or weren't thinking at all at the time.

Or alternatively, if we could brutally beat up charvs in a Roman Style Arena using Lions, Axes, Swords (Tharrick's in...lol), Maces and...Charcoal, then we'd have no worries with the stupidity of modern day charv.

I honestly have no idea Chris, which is the same question I'm constantly asking myself after this. Surely the girls that attacked her had the same length hair. Either that or they had really short hair and a Burberry Hat on.
In history girls have always had long hair or at LEAST hair so it should be tolerated. If a girl has long hair, so what. That's life!

This is horrid!! I get made fun of all the time because I have long hair, long for guys. just past the shoulders. But I couldn't imagine anyone stabbing me for it...Poor girl. I wish I could send her money...something...

hah never go to the hermitage then.... I got threatened quite a lot because of my hair and that was BEFORE i grew it long.... man i did get beat up twice cause of it which is probably why i hold no mercy for charvas or arrogant people anymore. But man things weren't so bad that I would be stabbed or 'set on fire' well at leat i don tthink so. I wish i someone would slowly mutilate those bastards who stabbed her..... use the same scissors and slowly remove each eye....... peel the skin off their limbs and then throw them in a bath full of salt........ *snaps out of sick and twisted mode*

similar thing happened near me. A nearby school is now known for its fights after this year. It got so bad that someone was stabbed. I gotta find out how that went

That's just the point though. People are getting more and more eager to kill people they don't like that they're pointing out the most ridiculous excuses to do so.
this is absolutely ridiculous. i cant see whats wrong with having long hair. but its just the charv mentality. i had a rockport boot thrown at my head, because i have red hair. so i beat the kid up with his own boot till he cried. had no trouble since. but yeah, i'm disgusted at the levels of discrimination some people will go to.

Yes! People get stabbed because they are:
fat
different hair colour
How tall you are
Facial Features.
It's how the world is now, I can just imagine in about 40years time about 90% of the population will just be too scared to leave their homes because everyone has adapted to this "Ill do what the **** I want". Every month isn't it like 5kids thet end up killing themselves because of bullies, it's never going to stop and there really is nothing the police can do to stop it, it's just one of those things that completely impossible to prevent.
I haven't actually heard of this incident but i've read about others, I just think it's very pathetic and as a friend of mine said at work. We need to bring back death setences, if you kill someone you should have your life taken away. Now-a-days its like you kill someone and you'll get say 10 to 30years and you could get end leaving after doing half your sentence.

Dude, are you here to talk about the topic or to brag to us how your country is better than ours, like ya always do? You always brag about your country. If we wanted to research Singapore's crime rate, I'd have checked Google.
Now, we may not do anywhere near THAT amount of punishment to these girls, but I bloody well hope we give them something that'll scar them for life.
nationalist lol (bare with me, thats one of my bad attitudes/habits), but if i am not wrong, Britain last excecuted a woman/girl a few decades ago and they stop i think (some case of a race driver hitting his pregnant wife and the wife killed him out of revenged then got excecuted) i think, i have a pregnant cousin living in maryland england, and after reading about this and the "Happy Slap w/e" topic, i am kinda worried about her :/

Yeah, I gotta admit when it comes to executions our last one was ages ago and probably for a crime nowhere near as bad as most of the common day crimes. We really should bring that back. I agree with Kaede.
You shouldn't worry about your cousin though Lenin. We ain't anywhere near as strict as your country with crimes and stuff like that but she'll be fine. It ain't that bad lol.

Why would you stab somebody over their hair length or the color of their hair? Or why would you stab somebody at all? It just doesnt make any sence to me. Stabbing people because they are different.... This seems to be a big problem in the world(except its not just stabbing but killing and other things too). If you cant deal with somebody because they are different then just stay away from them and ignore them, and if you cant do that then in my opinion you are just sad and pathetic.

I do agree. Not with harming people (well...) but definately we do need to get rid of Chav culture.
I think there should be a cultural reform where Chav-ism is wiped out because there are enough problems in the world for goodness sake and we don't need this whole attitude problem that stereotypical Chavs have making people not want to walk the streets alone!
Send em to army boot camp that'll straighten them out (and take their benefits too! Then they'll work for a living - like I do!)

The idolt that tried to kill that girl won't see the light of day for a LONG, LONG time, I can tell you that much. Considering the victim's father or mother, or whoever runs the family, will sue the shizit out that family. Not mentioning that the family members that work might lose their jobs. Oh well, they deserve it.
