my favourite character in FF IX is Zidane. he was cool. Amarant was cool too but no one is cooler than Zidane =)

When I was playing through FFIX, for some reason I tended to use Quina a lot, probably due to my bid to get as much blue magic as possible. Auto-Life came in handy in Cleyra, especially against Beatrix.

If I had to pick a favourite character, it would probably be Vivi or Quina.

Quina and Vivi would have to be my favourites... Quina for the comedy value, and the fact I'm obsessed with collecting Blue Magic, and Vivi... because he rocks!

However, it's hilarious to watch Zidane and Steiner argue all the time.

You know, I just realized I actually played this game... never beat it, but played it still the same. Fave character would be Freya or Vivi, but Freya is cooler. 1, Dragoon, 2. Named after a goddess in Norse mythology, that gets me all the time^^

I like just about everybody!

But my favorite is Steiner. He has that "knight quality" that I've never seen in any of the PS1 FFs. I like his romance with Beatrix better than the Zidane and Garnet "Dagger". His weapons were sweet also! He had good moves and I think we can all say the Doomsday Sword looked very funny to watch when you see a knight running towards his enemy and a giant meteor is behind him.

Kuja was badass. I mean, he stole Bahamut from the queen and blew her up using him. He wears a thong yeah, but he'll kill you.

My favourite FF9 characters was Freya. She had some good moves, including Jump, and she could equip awsome looking spears. I liked her attitude too, I thought it was unique. My second favourite character was Garnet.

I like Zidane because he's the main character! I also like him because he's got a cool design, I mean that tail was pretty original, I also like him because he's always trying to get Dagger but Dagger always walks away... lol

I like Vivi because all Black Mages are sweet! That and he's got it hard on life compared to how far i'm in the game. (End of Second Disc - Lifa Tree, First Visit)

I'd definitely say Zidane was my favourite character. He's even at the top of my list out of all the Final Fantasy games. Why? Because he's the protagonist and he's the thief. He also gets some pretty good abilities, skills, and equipment, but only if you've been playing the game for a while. ;)

I Like Ziadane alot he is a great lead character and has a great personality.

I liked all the characters to be honest. Each of them had their own personalities and they were unique in their own way. I really didn't dislike anybody in the game. But out of all of them, I would have to say Vivi. He's cool. He's a black mage. And he just friggin' rocks!!!! :P
