I heard news about this one in the Philippines, here in our country.
Many Filipinos say that it can't be accepted, they say that
Filipinos/as are losing respect and rights or whatever you call it.
They also say that the US Marines who raped the Filipina must die,
for they don't know how to show respect for the Filipinos. So you, as
someone from the US or other countries, do you have any reaction
and opinion on this one? Is it right to just leave the US Marines right there
and never do anything about them?

I don't really know if I believe it. Do they have the evidence to say they raped her? She could just be lying.

Assuming she's not I think they should face capital punishment.

i think you should accept each other and have some respect for people.
raping a woman is raping here honour, using a body as a doll, they have feelings of a human like you, like me, like all of us.
i think that does'nt matter wether you're a fillip or an italian

they deserve to be killed. seriously. the amount of mental anguish she will have to live with for the rest of her life, and she will never trust a man again, it would have been easier on her if she had died. any man low enough to rape a woman, is too weak to find a woman willing to have sex with him. a man that needs 5 of his mates to help, well doesnt deserve the time it took me to type this. they should all be shot.

yes! yes! I totally agree! except for the killing part, killing other people does'nt undo their crimes that is just hate....sorry for saying this but it is anger and hatred that makes these kind of punishments possible.
locked up in jail for lifelong, and lots of dirty clean work!!!
but you are right about the torture that follows her, indeed for the rest of her life. and sex should'nt just be thrown away. Sex is for making love to each other, for both! and not just for one person. this kind of incidents really leaves me in tears, can you imagine what pain she have to go trough?

Why shoot them? Take what they have away and shame them infront of the public. Why should they have dignity if they have drained it from the very soul of another person? I mean, seriously. What's the point of killing someone when their guilt will be their ultimate demise in the end?

I say let these Marines live...but take away their freedom and their lives and all they'll have is the reminder.

She could've loved what happened to her, and might long for another experience like that, and could just be lying about it. If someone is sick enough to rape someone, someone else could be sick enough to enjoy it...

They're still not sure if the woman is a prostitute, but she sent a letter
here in the Philippines, that she was really raped. But maybe it's a lie.
She never showed her face in the media.
I agree with Dalton, just let them live but take away their freedom,
don't kill them. They could change, just lock 'em up in jail and maybe they
will learn a lesson. :D

hell if they were in an american prison theyll never want to rape again because. people in prison for a while get real lonely and well its pretty ****ed up.

if they acually did rape her than they deserve to be locked up, if they didn't than they don't. I don't think they should be killed but defently punished.

do you really know anything about the past of the phillipines its been going on for years that place is to much like america when america invaded there they stole the wives of the men so on so on.
its not right but doesnt stuff like rape happen every day.
i dont really like the american forces that much anyways there such pigs
