Debating Section

I wasn't sure if the "General" board/forum is the right place for certain threads which require arguements or debate so I thought i'd suggest it. Possibly a sub-forum within the General board or something? And certain arguements should be allowed to "flare" a little as long as they stay on topic and don't start flaming or anything. Like for example, it could be a debate on Evolution, or God. I'm kinda confused here, cause i'm not too sure if the General board is pretty much this =/

Hm, not much point in a debating section really considering most the threads we post on different issues usually turn into an argument anyway.... Did I say argument? I meant debate :P

I think it's a good idea, especially seeing as now we'll actually have a place where we're supposed to fig-debate about stuff instead of just ruining threads with arguments. Ya, I like it.

Any admins going to comment on this? Like it doesn't have to be an entire separate forum, just a sub-forum in the Mature section and obviously the "argueing" will be kept to a "mature" standard you could say, well to some extent. And it could also be for "debating" on other more logical subjects, you know? Like the ol' "If a tree fell in a forest and no one was around, would it make a sound?" or something, xP.

Yeah, ain't really so much point if we've got the Mature Section. I guess there's not really much difference from the Debating Section Idea and the Mature Section already there. Don't really think there's much need. The mature section is there to give arguments hell and to be helpful. So don't worry about using it wrongly, so long as you have a good point when posting in it.

I think there's no need for a Debating forum, since we already got the Mature General forum to talk and debate about mature things. Further I don't want to much forums, since it can get you confused...
