... that thread doesn't show that no one cares.... We care we just said we weren't avid followers of his career, don't 'diss' the thread man :P.

Can't say I saw the testimonial to be honest since I don't watch it anymore. Wonder if anyone else did

I saw it, great choice of music for the video tribute on smackdown, I'm here without you - 3 doors down.

And that thread got locked. I'm going to request that this one does too, because Grace think's I'm a cock for having no sympathy for a man who killed himself with drugs.

Both of you need to let it go. Grace seems to be more of a fan than him, so I can see why he cares, but Tharrick also has a point on the whole alot of other people die thing he said in the other thread. Although he did do drugs, he did realize his mistakes and stay clean for 4 years before dieing due to heart faliure. You also seem to be saying he deserved to die. He might have drugs before but I don't he deserved to die. Basicly your saying,"you do drugs, your bad, you deserve to die." Anyways it needs to be dropped. This thread isn't about his death or how he died or whether or not you should show sympathy for him, it's about whether or not you liked/saw the video tributes.

And the fact remains. Why would I watch a tribute for a man whose own stupid choices got him killed?

Basicly your saying,"you do drugs, your bad, you deserve to die."
Yep. I've always been a firm believer that the stupid should die.

See that I don't agree with. Yes it was stupid, but he also realized his mistake has been clean for 4 years. Your saying you've never done anything you've regretted before? Cause if so than from what your saying, you deserve to die and so does everyone on this earth. He was very open about his past problems and used his personal knowledge to help other people. The fact is that no matter what stupid people are going to do drugs, sometimes it's because of personal problems (not saying it's alright to do drugs) which leads to depression and they turn to drugs or sometimes (this is the really stupid reason) because of peer pressure. Your opinion are your opinion, I personally don't agree with all of them, but if everyone agreed with everyone than it would kinda suck. Some people doesn't deserve a second chance, but if your at least smart enough to realize your mistakes, get help, stay clean and even help other people like they said eddie did than I beleive you deserve a second chance, everyone wants and deserves a second chance for something. Maybe this would be better suited in a thread just for this discussion so members could give their opinions on the matter, without starting an argument or any dis-like for another member that seems to be happening between you and Grace.

There's a difference between a regrettable act, such as shoplifting or being a right bastard, and a suicidal act like drug abuse. I'm of the opinion that those who do these suicidal acts should die.

Yes it was stupid, but he also realized his mistake has been clean for 4 years.
Duff McKagan, one of my musical heroes, had a drinks problem. It resulted in the loss of a good portion of his liver and his pancreas now. A pint of beer will kill him.
If he drank that pint of beer, I'd have no sympathy.
The man's not drunk in a great many years. It makes no difference.

Ok,so your saying if he dies any other way other than because of drinking you'll have sympathy? because eddie didn't die because of the drugs, he died of heart faliure. Sure the drugs played a role in weakening his heart, but this Duff McKagan hasn't (i'm guessing) died from drinking, he's just weakened because of it.

Basicly:

Duff McKagan drank, lost his liver, doesn't drink anymore, if he drinks he will die and you'll have no sympathy, if he dies of any other cause you'll have sympathy. (Based on what i got from you)

Eddie did drugs, his blood vessels in his hear got worn and narrow, he didn't do drugs for 4 years, his working out because he's an athlete (although he's a wrestler and it's kind of a fake sport you still need to be fit) caused the already weakened heart to fail.

Yes his drugs did lead to his death, but he didn't die doing drugs he died because of working out to stay fit for his occupation/love. If you want to be a musician you have to pratice and get better, if you want to be an athlete (whether a wrestler or any other kind of athletic sport) you need to work out and stay fit.

He died because of heart complications caused by his drug abuse

Duff would die by liver complications from alcohol abuse. Its the same thing, but yet you have sympathy for Duff, but not for Eddie? Thats slightly confusing...

Now read my post again. If Duff drank that last pint, and it killed him, I would have NO sympathy

A pint of beer will kill him.
If he drank that pint of beer, I'd have no sympathy.

Personally, might I advise that any topic with regards to this Eddie Gurrero person's death be dropped.
