Has anybody heard of this game? I sent away for a copy. :|

Yeah I played the first one long time ago, it was pretty good, lots of good action. Graphics were meh, but the gameplay was pretty well done.

I've got the demo for it, it's pretty funky despite the poor graphics and sound (well, it was a pretty early PS game)! Storyline is pretty well thought out, and (of-course) There's the fact you get to slash monsters to pieces with a nice sword!

I'm sure there was a character with a large staff thing too, I preferred playing as him.

I use to love this game, the first one was excellent but i didnt play much of the second one, wasnt as good I didnt think.
But yeah the first one is well worth buying, not as scary as resident evil or whatever but, has lots of action and suspense to keep you in.

game rocked even if the graphics sucked it was still fun trying to find secret spots that were actually secret.
the second rtrpg style fighting and mortal combat style also. why lets see enemy health bar and you engage in combat you attack really slow so its basically taking turns and then a finishing move were you just axe while there on the ground.
