View Full Version : [RPG] leveling up
for some reason im not being able to level up for some reason ive been level 26 and had 30% exp for awhile after post also and the exp has stayed at 30%.
I think you get EXP by fighting monsters...at least I do anyway? o-o Not sure if posting gives you EXP though...
Im not sure, but this forum may have installed a mod where EXP doesn't rise in certain forums.
=================
I had 63% EXP before making this post
I still have 63% EXP after making this post

My guess is, Zidane forgot to re-edit newreply.php

I guess you just don't get exp. from posting. I find that highly unlikely, though. I'm pretty sure I'm one of the highest level people and I haven't really done that many battles....So yeah, I don't know. If Revan can't figure it out, there's undoubtedly no way in hell I can. XD

I'm lvl 35 or 34, not sure.
So yeah, posting gets me experience. But now it's just unbelievably hard to level up. Monster battles would probably get me more, but I'd rather post.
Neo already said the problem, zidane updated the forum and didnt re-edit newreply.php
end of story, this doesnt need to be discussed anymore.

He said it was his guess. If someone else might have another answer to the problem they're more than welcome to it as long as it's not some idiotic drivle.

Nope, that RPG update code is there.
Maybe you have the "count EXP only in selected forums" addon I sort of wrote, and it reset the forums in the update (or removed that row altogether)?
Probably because ONE post doesn't give you exactly 1% when your in the higher levels =/ Unless of course you've posted ALOT and haven't noticed ANY change in your EXP levels then I wouldn't have a clue.

Testing it and indeed, I haven't received any EXP... :(
I'll have a look at all files that were edited.
