I have both Predator films on VHS and this was way better than Predator 2 for obvious reasons.

Arnold Schwarzenegger plays Dutch Schaeffer, a soldier with a background we don't know about. There isn't really a story to the characters in this film but who cares? Dutch Schaeffer leads his elite team of commandos into a Central American jungle to rescue some hostages, but before they reach the camp, they find a destroyed helicopter and some skinned bodies nearby. Mysterious indeed.

This film is so well made. We aren't introduced to the enemy right away, which is a good thing. The pace was just right. The highlight of this film is Arnold's final fight with the creature in the jungle at night. I don't want to give away the ending, but it is definitely one of the scariest and funniest things I've ever seen in a film. Arnold, we miss you. :(

Sorry, I pasted it from another board. Anyway, I heard a rumour about John Cena being in a remake. Now a sequel is fine by me, but not a remake. Remakes are crap.

I've watched one and two, though I vaguely remember the first one (I do remember watch *most* of it, missed some of the beginning). Pretty cool movies, I like the whole "predator" thing, they're pretty cool. The second one was pretty okay, nothing TOO bad about it, though I think the first one was well just better. Since it was like a better setting and stuff =/ Alien vs Predator wasn't that great, unfortunately.

Aliens vs Predator sucked, really badly.
Though theres a book adaption out thats pretty good.

I liked it. Then again, I like most of the strange films I sit through. :P

The remake has been confirmed as false. It may still happen though.
