House revolves around an author called Roger Cobb played by William Katt. He moves into his aunty's house after she commits suicide so he can write a new novel about his time in Vietnam involving his comrades, including this guy called Ben. His son vanished many years ago near the house and he got divorced because of this as well. So by living in this lonely house he can work on his book in peace, or so he thought. The distractions come in the form of his neighbours and the horrific images that he finds around the house. Things get worse after he is attacked by a monster in a closet and a set of sharp garden tools. With the help of his neighbour, Roger attempts to take a picture of the thing in his closet, only to be drawn further into the horrors of the house.
House is a decent 80's horror comedy, but I have a question. Where was the house located exactly? I don't think it has ever been revealed. If you know where it was located, please send an e-mail to peter.a@hotmail.co.uk and I'll thank you for the information. Anyway, I could recommend this movie to fans of 80's horror flicks. The sequels were pretty dire, so watch them at your own risk.
