About 2 years ago, or however long ago the Win2k source code leaked, I made a joke file called "WinXp.Source.Code.spam". Yes, the extension was ".spam". The file size was 14 kb.
Anyways, inside I made some bullshi'ite Visual Basic code, stuff like

if condition (user.tries.anything)
{
freeze_computer();
laugh_manically('Har Har Har');
display_bigass_picture_of_billy_gator_and_windows_ copyright();
}

etc. So I joined this techie forum, a forum about programming and stuff, and thought Id give them a good laugh.
I posted that thing in the spam forums, and the next day I found myself being slapped with the banstick!!!111one
In the email I got, the admins had banned me for posting, get this, "Illegal and copyrighted material". WTBF!? So I joined up under another username, PMing them to try to tell them that seriously, a 14kb file with the extension .spam being the real source code of the then newest Windows OS? Come on.
But the next day, another ban. This time it was an IP ban, and a warning that if I came back I would get a letter from my ISP.
Several of my friends joined shortly thereafter, some tried to get an explanation and some just to laugh at them. They all got banned right away.

Pity I can't remember the name of the place, but this shows that even the self-proclaimed geeks do have a high ratio of dumb sods in their ranks.

Wow, I think the only thing I understood from this entire thread was Kaede's "/word". XD But whatever, I'm sure the people who banned you are assfaces.

My dad's near computer illiterate. Two good (funny) examples:

- He needed me to type in his e-mail address.
- He needed me to find the enter key on the keyboard.

depends what you wanna do

could always do java, which isnt' really dificult, but theres a lot to it

or you could do Visual Basic, which is probably the simplest coding language ever created, and theres comunities all over the web where you can learn that, But you need the progra, Visual Basic by Microsoft, with Java you can just download JCreatorLE for free

techies always think they know better than each other..

techie a doesn't like techie b's idea, and will not back down until nuclear war is declared.

ha ha, my father could'nt delete his own cookies because if he presses the delete button, nothinh happens. now i did was clicking the properties of my dad's internet explorer clicked "remove temporary internet files"That doesn't delete your cookies. That clears your cache. In IE7 the buttons are "Delete Cookies" and "Delete files", but I do know it's different in IE6, something like "Delete information capsules" and "Delete temporary internet files".

Oh and PS: Get Firefox! (http://www.getfirefox.com) :D

yeah, whatever i told it already that the language differs from yours, cookies or temp files, it comes out the same

No, clearing cookies or temp files does not come out the same. Temporary files are for instance images of a webpage stored on your hdd for faster loading. Cookies are for instance holding your login data on a forum.
I don't believe that whether the buttons are written in Dutch, Norwegian or English, clearing your temp files does not clear your cookies.

no hes right dude, cookies and temp files are different
cookies hold information aboiut websites you've been to, cookies are what help you stay logged into a website and things like that

temporary files are things like pictures downloaded from websites, they're stored on your PC to make it faster to load.

Yeah, I think Revan typoed in his last post, because in the post beforehand he was on track - just a minor grammar error or something that changed the whole meaning of his post
