WOW! i didnt know it was that simple. Thanks Dark Matter i am new to photoshop and this tutorial was very helpful. If you know how to make a tutorial to make a abstract for a SIG pplease post it if you can. Thanks great tutorial. :)

I've noticed that everyone seems to use Photoshop here.. I assume the tutorials refer to that. In which case, does anyone know anything about Paint Shop Pro? Or does everyone just think it sucks and would recommend me Photoshop?

I've heard of Paint Shop Pro, but like.... I just happen to have Photoshop, I got it, so I might aswell use it. Plus it's more popular so it's probably easier to find brushes, tutorials, etc.

I'd recommend photoshop. All the professionals use it

Yeah, I know, well... not really know... but yeah whatever, mostly use Photoshop for like the brushing parts of the piece and some other things too.

You made a nice tutorial, Akabane. I'm currently working on a tutorial for my current sig, having images for each step, so it's going to take a while. If anyone has any tutorial reccomendations, post them here. :) Let's get this thread active. :P

Use this thread to request tutorials, etc.

You can post someone's sig and ask for a tutorial to be written on it, and we'll do it.

Also, since we have a tutorials section, we can have a separate thread per tutorial, meaning the "don't post in the tutorials thread" rule is now no longer in effect! :)

And note to all tutorial writers, for the thread name, add the title of the tutorial, then add the difficulty level (easy, intermediate or hard), so the users will know how much of a challenge they face.

And anyone can write tutorials now.

can someone tell me how to put a render on? I'm using PS CS2 and I tried to copy and paste with the lasso but that doesn't work. Can someone help me please?
