I started the game again today, as part of my bid to complete all the FF games from VII to X, and me being too impatient with FFVIII.

So, for a laugh, I chose the expert sphere grid, and let's just say that it's confusing me. It's cool, but the choices are tough. Do I start learning Flee, Haste and Tidus's other skills, or do I work my way towards getting the Fire/Thunder/Blizzard/Water spells early?

Decisions, decisions...

I loved the Expert Grid :D
I got Flee & haste and stuff early for Tidus, as sometimes you just DON'T want to fight random monsters and its very useful...
On the other hand get Lulu's spells as soon as you can, and Yuna's nullify spells, they help loads for the Seymour fight

The Expert Sphere Grid is great indeed! It allows you to go everywere, but first it's handy to learn your own skills.
I tried to learn everything and, but it takes forever, even with one character...

Having all the skills for every single character would be the most fun final fantasy experience ever.

It's funny really. Yuna is the only character with a skill unattainable by any other... summon. Except for the limit breaks and general strengths... (e.g. Wakka > flying creatures, etc...)

Expert Sphere grid ruuuuullleeesss!!! Of course, I just make a break for Holy and Ultima asap lol. And all the breaks with Tidus and Auron. OH! And that cool one that makes everythin cost one mP, that rules!

I heard about the ultimate Final Fantasy X combo the other day... here it is, in spoil-o-vision!

If you combine the skill which increases magic power for double MP cost with the skill that makes all magic cost 1MP, this means that spells which use about 130MP now require 2MP!

Looking forward to this...

Im kinda experimenting with the Expert Sphere Grid, ive made Tidus learn the basic Flee, Cheer etc and then I made him learn all of LuLu's magic, the same goes with the rest of my characters, ive mixed everything up and its made the game a bit more fun seen as well ive completed it 4 times:D

I began just yeasterday to use it, since I finished the normal one.I think that it can be tough to learn some abilities, such as Armour Break(for Defender X).But I'm beggining to work on it, for at least finish the game with it. :P

I think I'm using the expert sphere grid. The thing is though, it doesn't seem to have zombie attack on it? (Not that it's that important... I just like getting as much as I can :P)

I sent everyone down their own paths first, and then made them go down others afterwards anyway. Yuna has been like... everywhere. Double AP + Omega Ruins = loads of sphere levels. Yuna actually has more strength than Tidus.

I haven't used the Expert Sphere Grid yet, but you all are saying that ALL locks are gone in the Expert Sphere Grid so that every character can wander EVERYWHERE?! That is sooooooooo cooooooooooool :D

I remember the first sphere grid, first time we did it we didn't like it at all. So we switched to Expert Sphere Grid. It's much better, much more freedom. You can make Kimahri, who is made to be the weakest in the team, one of the strongest actually o-o You can go loads of directions with it, which is great. Freedom ftw :P

I've always used the expert sphere grid. IT just sounded more appealing xD

well the best tactic i've found to level up is a weapon with:

Triple Overdrive,
Triple AP,
Overdrive to AP

once you've done that, set the character you want to level sphere levels with the comrade overdrive mode, then get into a fight with a tonberry king in the calm lands. Then using the other two characters, you lete them attack the tonberry. It then uses karma, and once it kills your other party members, you'll recieve Ap from the weapon.

it takes ab out 5 hours to get the equipment, and then about 30 mins to max out the sphere grid xD

so put it like this.

Omega Weapon = Owned to the extreme.

if you wanan find out where to get the items to create this magnificent weapon, just ask xD

w00t for AJ-Jay-Nay ^^,

I never used the expert grid. I might have to try it on my next play through. I did spend enough time with AP weapons so that every character has every skill. It took a long time but I did it.
