Grinspoon, great band. Many of you might haven not heard of it, cause it's an Australian band, and mostly base themselves around here. One of my favourites, personally.
I'm guessin' we recommend more so of "newer" bands and ones that might not be so famous worldwide? Cause yeah, that's what thought the case is/was.

What would you say would be the best songs from Arcade Fire to check out? :)

Also, I'm sure everyone's heard songs from Disturbed, great band. A great band is Nightwish. A great artist I would reccomend is Immortal Technique. Pretty much any song would be good from him, he's a very political rapper and touches basis on a lot of controversial events, beliefs, teachings, scriptures, etc.

What's the best In Flames album? I have Colony and was thinking about getting another one, but I wouldn't know which to get..

Oh, and Embody the Invisible (think that's what it's called, the first track on the album) has the catchiest riff ever!

Deknor
29-07-2005, 11:16
Bleh. I liked Lamb of God before they became trendy. Sonata Arctica...:) Devil Driver, Strapping Young Lad, A life Once Lost...

Don't know if anyone has mentioned The Wildhearts. They're Hard Rock, which is pretty much my favourite genre. People here also need to listen to Erasure. They're more poppy than anything but not extremely pop, otherwise more people would have known them...turns out it's mostly just me who listens to them though :D.

Nah, I heard they suck lol. ESPECIALLY the bassist, apparently he's the worst of them all! :P And as for the topic, ehhhrrrrmmmm...... If you don't listen to Guns N' Roses already, then you have a problem and MUST listen to them NOW. And yeah some other bands which I think are good, xD. I dunno if I said this already, but Grinspoon is a good one, won't hear of them much since they're Australian. And if your a rap fan, try Scribe.

Miley - having looked at your favourite bands in your intro thread, I reckon you might like Lacuna Coil. Think Evanescence, only much, much better. And if you like relatively heavy stuff with clean female vocals, Epica is also a good band to check out.
