Rant~
The time has come minions!... X-Men 3 trailer has been released with the launch date!

All is not good though X-3 has a new director. Bryan singer has left for another project, so Brett Ratner, the director of the rush hour movies has took the chance. Let's just hope that he keeps the mutant thrive.
Also the film has been getting bad press lately, Halle Berry (Oscar Winner) wanted a bigger role. Lets admit she has hardly had a oscar winning role in the x-men films. Due to Bryan not sticking to the marvel heart. As Storm has more speech than about 5 lines.>_>
New characters! (brett is doing good so far!) Kitty Pryde, beast, gambit and angel! And jubilee has more of a part then 1 line in the first movie -.-
Theres rumour to have a love triangle between Kitty Pryde, Rouge, and Ice man.. Who's your bets?
With more enemies like Omega Red, Pheonix (if you didn't see it coming your blind XD) And juggernaut!

w00t oh yeah, so knew that there was going to be a third movie after watching the the second (well more so of a speculation really xP). I don't know some of these characters or am just confused.... Kitty Pryde is that girl that can go through walls right? Cause if so, you see her in a very small role in the second movie - all you see her do is running away from the soldiers using her powers (walked through the walls to get away obviously). And I remember the name Omega Red, no clue who Pheonix is and w00t Juggernaut =D Who's Angel? Beast was like pretty cool and Gambit was my one of my favourite characters after Wolverine.
Wait Storm only had five lines in the second movie? O_o Really? I thought there was alot more, i'm probably thinking of just the acting and rather than the talking lol. And the Rush Hour movies were pretty cool, but this is a different kind of movie so might not be as great? =( Oh well, can't wait to see this. Pyro turns evil doesn't he? Like he joined Magneto didn't he? And in the cartoon you see him join Magneto - only alot older.
P.S. w00t I was right about Jean Grey still being alive - since at the end you see a Pheonix so like PRETTY obvious. Wait a minute.... is Jean Grey this "Pheonix" person? What's the difference? Like does she look different or have different powers or something O_o Oh and who's Callisto?

lol xP. Okay so like Pheonix is some.... thing which posses Jean Grey's body, is her body liek actually alive or anything? So like what IS Pheonix? Is he/she really a Pheonix? xD.
Yeah like I only watched the original cartoon (the old one, not the Evolution one - but I watched that too) ages ago and forgot alot of stuff - that's where most of the stuff I knew about X-Men came from, xP. Never read any of the comics or anything.
Right so Angel is some random guy (was he in any of the comics or shows) with wings which are like an angel's wings so... ANGEL! What a perfect name, xD. Omega Red is just some *failure* who's just some wannabe squid/octopus , xD. And Pyro goes all evil-like o.o
Juggernaut doesn't look that big >.> They should of got like a really big actor or something, xP. I mean he looks all somewhat like a bulky, strong guy but still... xP. And like does he have the armour and everything? (Juggernaut that is) and no pictures of Gambit? =O I got Quicktime to install so I might go like try and see if the trailer works now, xP.

Wow...they REALLY didn't improvise much when it came to making Juggernaut did they? Although I really don't think they'd ever find a guy as big as the animated Juggernaut. He was HUGE.

Unfortunately true. And I am one of those fans, Wolverine is pretty cool and everything, but I also like Pyro, Gambit and a few others. The cartoon magneto wasn't too bad, he was pretty cool other than the fact he was evil, xD. Some of the bad guys in the original cartoon were pretty weird looking and had strange powers, like this one who would scream and it would hurt people's ears (some girl in the second movie had this power). And yeah Juggernaut was quite massive and this guy seems somewhat big, but obviously not as.

It would have been eaiser if they just got some kinda big robot to do the Juggernaut part rather than getting a huge but at the same time not as big in comparison kinda guy to do the part.

Yeah Gambit is pretty cool. I remember him as like a Texan Ladies Man, although it's been a while since I've seen Gambit so some people could disagree with that lol. But yeah, and that pole thing he used in the animated series was cool too. Didn't he date Jubilee or something?
Dale: Getting a robot to do Juggernaut's part would well suck lol I mean he'll (obviously) have his armour and helmet off from time to time, heck maybe most of the movie he will? That's what you meant right? Like a robot (wearing Juggernaut's usual armour and helmet) to be him yes? lol. And I think it's called a staff =P And I think he also has it in the comics so maybe he'll have it in the movie.

lol. Well kinda, I'd just prefer something more Juggernaut sized, but hell...I ain't gonna complain. I'm just glad they've got the third movie out shortly. That staff rocks yeah! lol. I hope they put that in the movie.
^ Yeah I would too but like we could find any one that massive who looks muscular and is also a normal actor lol. But the chosen Juggernaut looks like a pretty tough guy and everything so yeah like you said I won't complain, xP. And well it's been awhile since the second movie, I mean didn't it come out just last year so over a year to shoot the third movie and well isn't it coming out MAY next year? so like gotta way another five months.... Or was it March? xP. And i'm pretty sure they'll put in the staff, no reason that they can't and it is Gambit's actual (normal, usual) weapon and everything lol. I heard (not KNOW so mostly likely wrong here) Gambit might be played by Chris Tucker.... but that was just off someone who heard it from someone. I doubt it, I mean he's black (not in a racial way lol) and in all of the comics or shows Gambit is well white. And he doesn't exactly seem like the kinda guy to play Gambit. However I think they're still choosing someone for the part (maybe?) since I haven't seen a picture or scene (off the trailer) with Gambit in it.

I seriously doubt they'd get Chris Tucker for Gambit, yeah. Isn't it a bit late on to still be choosing parts for him? They're planning on releasing it pretty soon so ya know. I don't care who plays Gambit as long as they don't screw it up. I think Doc. Occ (sp?) from Spiderman wasn't too good. The idea was excellent but I thought the actor was pretty pants lol.

Someone dies, some main character dies, apparantly, Speculation is it's Cyclops or Professor X, so meone says it may be WOlverine as he isn't at the final scene, but thats bull because Wolverine is getting his own movie.

Can't wait for this to come out.... Dunno where Phoenix will turn up, as on the site they have pictures of "Jean Grey", not "Phoenix"...
Thats because Pheonix took control of Jean Grey's body, didn't you see at the end of X-Men 2 where in the water you can see a shadow of a pheonix? Well that's Pheonix and I believe that in this movie Pheonix is well Jean Grey, so no troubles of having to do anything for Pheonix for the people that are making the movie! lol. Same actor and same voice ;) Just maybe diff. personality and stuff. So in a way Jean Grey didn't really come back to life xP. And who's Vinnie Jones? The name sounds familar but not exactly too sure lol. And Dale, did you even look at the pictures on teh site? lol. And Dale, isn't it being released MAY next year? So there still might be some shooting time (as in shooting the movie xD) xP. And if there was a person playing Gambit wouldn't they have some pictures of him? And I saw this clip were this really famous French "sensation" [insert name inwhich I have forgotten] sent a submission showing all these card tricks (the ones that Gambit would use, pulling them out and throwing them properly, etc) that he can do and also showing him using the staff xP.

Vinnie Jones was an ex-England footballer and star of movies such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Gone in 60 Seconds (if I remember rightly...) ah well, basically he's English and yes...*awaits Scott to insert Al Murray joke lol*. Yeah so...Vinnie Jones...that's HIM anyway.
But moving on, yeah...it's released sometime in May I think, so they have enough shooting time but you know how I think...yeah...lol. I wonder who Gambit WILL be then...

^ It's only a submission from some famous (famous in France anyway xD) French guy (which I mentioned before).
And i've never heard of Vinnie Jones nor seen him (well he looks somewhat) familar and he (well the pictere on saw on the X3 site) kind of looks like Jimeon (some English stand-up comedian.... or one of those UK countries xD ><). And sorry but i've never watched any of those movies and only heard of one (Gone In 60 Seconds) xP.
And is looks like Colossus is finally going to be considered part of the main cast. He was in the second movie but not too long. If you can't remember than it's the part where Striker and his men attack the Mutant school and he turns into his metal form when the guys are shooting him - then I think he bashes the guys up and then later on helps the kids escape the school. Not sure if it's the same actor though - looks like it.

Vinnie Jones is a class act, he was very good in Mean Machine, and Lock Stock, oh and can't forget his classic scene at the end of Gone in 60 Seconds.
I've seen that video of the french guy before, he was very good infact almost perfect for the part

I remember Omega Red now =D Before (check earlier posts) I had no clue of who he was other than that fact that the name sounded familar but now that I see a picture of him - i've seen him many times before (mainly being in the show). And i've never heard of seen Siryn, though she does look a bit like the cartoon-version of Rogue, but with wings and no white hair xP. And Jubilee was that teenage girl or something with black hair and could shoot this exploding ray or something along those lines, right? And are all these three going to be bad?

Oh, I forgot he was in those movies Grae lol. Well...Mean Machine. Although why they considered him for X-Men, I'll never know. I've never heard Vinnie do an American accent and of course Juggernaut is American so it would be a great surprise to see Vinnie do that part.
Ah well...I'm just looking forward to the movie coming out now. Oh and I've never heard of Siryn either Graeme lol.

Angel was from X-men Evolution - I specifically remember that episode - he was an older man though, not like the young guy in the movie.
Not sure if he was in the original X-men series, but he has appeared prior to the movie.
He could of been in the comics Siegfried. Though not sure I haven't entirely seen him in any of the series i've watched but have slightly heard of him.
I'll be looking forward to this movie.

no what sucks about it though? it's been confirmed that nightcrawler will not be in the movie. I just found this out today when reading one of Ctrl+Alt+Del's news posts. That really sucks.
Hot on the trails of the new... erm, trailer, are a whole bunch of new screenshots from the X-men 3 video game. Brian pointed out to be that it was interesting that you could play as Nightcrawler, when Nightcrawler won't be in the movie. He also informs me that the reason Nightcrawler won't be in the film is because supposedly Alan Cumming didn't want to deal with the makeup again. Weak.
Someone else tells me that the reason Nightcrawler isn't in the new film is because they didn't ask him back. They decided they had too many "blue mutants" (Mystique, Beast) in the film.
That sounds even stupider than the makeup thing.

I couldn't care less why he isn't in it, i'm just mad that he isn't. Nightcrawler isn't my favorite, one of my favorites, but not my favorite. Still, I thought Alan Cumming played the role really good.
p.s. I checked using ctrl + f but didn't see anything about nightcrawler, so I figured no one said anything about this already, my bad if they did XD
I barely remember what happened in the last two movies lol.The mutant without a really cool name dying something and Hugh Jackman on the Statue Of Liberty something.
But yeah I'm psyched.
