well, tonight at 12:30a.m, I saw an attack on someone from my house..well heard then saw what happened afterwards XD..but yeah, some guy had started mouthing of to this other guy for no reason he just said "what the **** is your problem?" and he like beat him senseless..and i mean senseless..he only just got up at its 1a.m ...blood all over his shirt *checks window* looks like his eye XD...but yeah, point is..we're not -really- safe anymore are we?

I know a guy one of my friends (sort of) beat some guy senseless and i mean senseless, he knocked him to the ground then once he got him on the ground stomped on his face and everything, guy had been in casuality fora while and then pressed charges, he's got some friends in the forces and my friend was put up for court but because of his friends in the forces he got away with it. Even if he is my friend, he still should of gone to court just not fair, the guy is gonna get jack all for getting the shit beaten out of him. I mean, I do live in town the centre of the pubs/clubs...pikeys/chavs. But just means peoples security is really low, you look at someone the wrong way..your face gets kicked in..you talk in the wrong tone..your face gets kicked in, and jack all gets done.

What do you guys think? do you think something will be done about it in the future?

My town's not too bad, but it is pretty small, but there's some places further out that just become no mans land past like... 9:00pm in the evening. If you accidently wander into there past dark it's highly likely you won't make it out again, especially if you're on your own. Lucky for me places like that aren't anywhere near where I live. Wimborne's pretty quiet, there's a couple of pubs in the towncentre but nobody really lives near there, and there's the police station pretty near where I live.

At my school I get taught self defense, and everyone is encouraged to take classes in self defense after school (whether that's because it's an all girls school and that females are more "vulnerable" or because of an increasingly violent society, I don't know). It's pretty sad though if you're going to have to know how to break someones arm in order to walk the streets feeling comfortable =/

Nottingham, where I live now, seems to be much better than Brackley, the little town I used to live in, in that people would frequently assault or try to mug me in Brackley, but I've never had any problems in Nottingham.

I used to think that nothing could ever happen in daft little Halden, where I live (south of Oslo). Right up until the day where I walked up to the elevator and found a blood splatter on the floor right below the button.
Apparently that weekend there had been a lot of stabbing incidents in town.

It's funny this topic is up here right now. Just last night as I was going to bed there was a bunch of guys arguing just down the street from my house. What it looked like was two of them got out of cars and started attacking this guy who looked like he was with his girlfriend (there was a woman holding him back once they'd legged it). At the same time though, there was a bunch of charvs running past the bottom of the street and I'm guessing they were also involved as the guy who had been attacked with his girlfriend had ran after them. After that it went all quiet cause they'd headed into a back alley.

Although arguments like that aren't really all that unusual here. I'm not the slightest bit proud of my village where I live. It's filth. It's full of not just charvs but people who deal drugs and the best thing about it is, nothing is ever done here unless it's something extremely violent. On the side, everyone in the village walks around with their families as if they're a mob. It's not as bad as it sounds but this village isn't one for safety, especially at night.

The local town not far from here is being renovated and with renovation you tend to get better security. I'm hoping in the future the village I'm in now is made a little safer. I'm just glad everyone here is okay and not been hurt by these incidents.

Yeah, my town's pretty freakin' bad. There's like, a whole gang issue. There's like, feuds and stuff. I remember during the summer, these people were on like, going around stabbing random people. And last year, there was a shootout a couple of blocks away from the local high school. Yeah, there was also a bomb-threat around that time, too. All the kids in the high school, including my older sister, were sent home immediately and the whole school was searched. One of her close friends was shot and killed exactly a year and 3 days ago, so yeah...My neighborhood is pretty bad, but it's not as bad as I make it sound...

Where I live now is pretty safe actually. All hicks and rednecks >_> We did have 3 bomb threats at school in 1 year though xD Where I used to live though wasn't so good. Every night you would here screaming, yelling, gun shots and police sirens all night long. Those were fun times >_> gangs pretty much were everywhere and cops could do nothing about it. But yeah, it seems that violence in society is greatly on the rise.
