What's your worst Final Fantasy that you've played?
I think mine is Final Fantasy X-2, cause it was too short and kinda girly.
I don't have a worse FF, they all had flaws and certain dislikes about them.
Well, FFX-2 is the only FF I own I haven't completed. So i guess that means something... It's not BAD or anything, I...just dunno.

Mine is Final Fantasy II/IV. I don't know. I didn't like it. It was kind of....bleh.
The two worst (to me) where
1 FF9
2 FF X-2
I don't know why FF9, I just couldn't really relate to the characters or get into the game or anything, I guess i found it a little too well..... "Cartoony" if you get what I mean.
And as for FF X-2, like Ziddy said, it was really girly and kinda lame :P
X-2. Very little plot line and poor music. And I mean, that happy cheery music right near the last boss, not exactly "Judgement Day" from FFVII was it? Totally spoiled the mood which was quite poor to start with.
I agree with lukeman, X-2 was probably the worst (even though its the only one I still own!)... The only highlight of it was the opening scene!
ff x-2 teriible sucked should not have been made.the only good thing was that you could lev up with out use that sphere bullshit which got annoying and i always forgot about it.
FFX-2 sucked major. Characters were just blegh and the story (at least to me) was cliche. No thanks. XD

One thing I didn't like in FFX-2 was Blitzball, they totally sucked the system. The mini-games were alright, but the ones on the Calm Lands sucked.
After FFX-2 I think FF8 was the worst I played. I didn't really like the Draw system, but not everything was bad. The music is a really good thing.

Oh God yes the new Blitzball sucked! You couldn't even do anything...the original was much, oh so much better.

1. FFI/II - I know they are only the early ones, but they were too difficult for me.
2. FFCC - Repetitive monstrosity of a game.
3. FFX-2 - Not terrible as the others mentioned, but it was a game that was not needed.
Aww... don't make me choose.
The one I've played the least is FFVIII, and I'm not that keen on the Draw system, so I'll go with that one.
Final Fantasy X-2...the bosses were totally easy...and the garment grids were what made it even worse... :upset:

i have to say, i actually liked FF8 and the draw system... but... i'm not a magic user.... XD so the draw was a way of lvlling my equip. (had like 300 curaga's ;D) worst? hard to tell...
FF9, the whole dolly thing dident get to me, tails big heads and small bodies, ew :(

The new ones coming out are probably the worst.
I don't know... I've got a good feeling about FFXII!!!! THere's just this little voice inside me saying it's going ot be a brilliant return to form for the FF series.
And after such a long wait, it better be!!!!

Never played FFX-2, never played FF:CC...
You know, I really hated the law system of FF:TA, after the awesome game that was FFT... So, FF:TA it is!

Completely agreed, FFTA and FFX-2 were the worst evar @_@ Some ideas in FFX-2 weren't too bad, like the battle system and jumping on cliffs and whatever, but for the rest it smelled xD

To me, ff9 was the worst in the series, and not because it wasnt a great game, but because of the goofy little bodies and the big heads. Dont get me wrong, i love the game, i love the equipment system, and i liked the characters, if it wasnt for those damn humungous heads and tiny ass bodies.(excuse my french)
FFIX, simply because i dident really love the dolly looking characters with tails, other than that the story was allright but the ending sucked. However no FF really "suck" imo.

My least favorite is X-2, it was very disapointing and I'm very upset with it lol. I got over the whole, "Why can't I be Brother" thing, but the blitzball?! They ruined it! I loved blitzball in the first X, in fact, I liked it so much I wished Square would've made a spinoff just for that! But X-2 was my least favorite, my second least favorite is II. The story was okay, but the battle system.... bleh...

FF X-2 had some great music like real emotion and 1000 words but as a game i think it's the worst... i think square-enix tried so hard to make a ff series which have an all female lead roles... ayt...;)

Final Fantasy IX, I enjoyed it sure but I got really bored of it on the 3rd disc but I had to force myself to finish it but I didnt feel any achievement from it, I dont generally like the game and if anyone says FFX2 sucks, you are stupid lol!

I wasn't exactly proud with FF VIII, The battle system pretty much sucked collecting weird draw magic stuff wasn't my idea of fun. The storyline isn't exactly the best either how Squall just happens to find Rinoa out in space and how Ragnarok (which rocks) happens to float by next to them. Although my favourite character happens to be Edea she's so cool and rocks also squall is just a cheap imitation of cloudwith the alone stuff.... only cloud suits it.
Okay, first of all, most people hate FF: CC because they think it has NO storyline... Well, it does. If you want to argue about the storyline, then go beat the game, then we can have an argument on it.
FFTA.. They just tried something new. Making it the same old FFT would of been, well, retarded. You can't move your company forward putting out the same old stuff every time, it would get, well, boring. Even though it's not as good as the first, doesn't make it a bad game. The "Rules" Just add a bit of strategy to it, even though it does get annoying from time to time.
FFVIII- How could you say it has a horrible storyline? To tell you the truth, I think VIII's storyline was more thought out than VII's was...After VII they decided to make up a bunch of crap to go along with it. With VIII they thought it out, and there is a lot of backstory and things you can only think about. There are still a lot of things from FFVIII which no one knows. Sure, the battle-system wasn't perfect, but it's still FF based.

No, wait, let me rephrase that, I was a bit harsh.. it is 93% crap.
The only thing I liked about this game was: The battle system. They tried mixing current graphics with V's battle system.. which worked, too bad the sphear crap sucked ass though. Also when you get Catnip, the whole game is basically ruined.
Anyways, moving on. Yes, all they wanted from this game was money. Only reason I bought it was because it was a Final Fantasy game... I played like 1 hour of it and went and bought it. (I enjoyed the Battle System, and I wanted to see if the story would get anymore..interesting.....Nope.) It's all about 3 lesbian's running around showing off their skin.
There are also 2 parts in the game at the hotsprings (When you are getting the uniforms) Now, BOTH of these parts (You can get the different one depending on what path you take) are both very..very sexual u.u
Sure, having a bit of sexyness is great. (Like Riku in FFX) but...Overflowing a game with sexual things and such, apparently doesn't work.
(They just as might as well called it FFXXX - Yuna the pr0n star)
The characters were the same...And you were always the same 3 people (That annoyed me a bit) and also, the story had no FEELING to it.
In FFX there was feeling in the story..2 people loved eachother and they held back their feelings until the moment snapped. And then they tried saving the world, together.
In FFVII...Well, you should know the "Feeling" part in all of that. I'm not spoiling something like that.
In FFVIII, a young boy had trouble with his life, and had the burden of saving the entire of the world, Gaia.
In FFIX Zidane, the little man-whore, actually falls in love with a girl, and does basically anything for her, just because of the special feeling he has for her.
In FFVI..Well, there was a hell lot going on between every character. XD
In FFX-2...Well, let this quote determin this. "Like0mg let's go look for a sphear thingy and dance in our underwear!@~!? w000~!!!~11shift4"
And yes, that is a dirrect quote.
I hate FFX-2, with a passion. Kthx.

L-o-L Love it. FFX-2 is my least favoured as well and I think Xyrin just about captures why. Thanks for saving me having to write out a post about it =)
FFX-2 was all about them developing, the game wasn't that bad peopl would of enjoyed it more if they have more clothing, but because of this they are like "OMFG WTFFZRS NAKED PIXELS EW NASTYS GAMEZ0RS". It's what annoys me about people who call themselves 'true gamers' yet all they complain about is characters and their clothes like Ivy for SC2 some guy I know was like "OMFG HAXX0RS IM NOT PLAYING AS IVYZ0RS SHE HAS SKIN SHOWINGZ".

Granted, it was there, still dull and left you chewing the bed in bordem.
It lacked any grip that the other games had, the story was tacky and the script was far to cheesy.
(Still, hats off to Square Enix for making so much off it :P)

Hrm? The sluttyness isn't the only thing that drove me away. The music was also increadibly HORRIBLE.
The only "Good" songs they had was when Yuna sung... And that was twice if I'm not mistaken. Once I heard the Chocobo song, I dropped the controler and turned the game off.
In this "Storyline" that you talk of, you don't feel like you're apart of it.
Sure, there's the story of Yuna looking for Tidus.. But they put in so much useless CRAP that you compleatly forget about Tidus, a lot of times might I add.
And as I said in my other pose, showing off some Sexy is a good thing (Ivy) Showing it EVERYWHERE IN THE FLIPPING GAME = A bad thing.

The worst Final Fantasy for me is Final Fantasy VIII. Yup, that's right. That game is so boring. I've replayed it so many times and I manage to get to the fourth disc. However, it's so boring now because I'm on the third disc. I can't seem to get through how boring it is.

x-2 i guess, although being a sequel does that directly count(as the auther put it down i guess s that means yes lol), XI online was a little dissapointing aswell,

For a sequal, X-2 met my standards. You know, there's only so much character development you can put into the same people before a game starts to suck. It was alright. I like how Square makes every one of their games have a little bit of unique-ness to it.
To be honest, I didn't like FFX very much. It might have been the fact that I hated the main character whenever I heard his thoughts or whenever he found something funny.

That game shouldn't be an FF.. It's an ONLINE game!! Sure, they took ideas from FF but sure loses the FF touch to it..
Like what kind of FF would suck out your free time so much? I swear it's like cocaine for gamers. It gets very addicting at certain points but then boom you hit a downfall and you realize, why am I sitting on my rear end all day playing this game? Whoo hoo I'm lvl 75, I'm super rich, I have ubor gear!! I beat FFXI O_O lol sadly it doesn't work out that way XD

I thought FFX-2 was okay. I don't think you were supposed to take most of it too seriously. In my opinion the story revolved more around Shuyin and Lenne. Yuna was just this.... person on the edge of the story fixing everything. :P

lolz this didn't affect me at all i was actually playing to see if square enix went crazy and maybe threw in some lesbian easter egg action :p
i really don't know why people flipped out about the sexual themes aspect it's like they never seen or heard of Doax or any doa games at all those are much more sexual than most games excpet those for adults (ao rating) its not like it had yuna running around in a thong bikini the whole time with boobses jiggling no it was more of the main characters wearing clubbing or summer time clothing brought on as acceptable by society so if you were fased by it you probably have never been outside.

Interesting... I disliked FFVIII the most. I just found it hard to get into. It felt different from the rest of the series and the Draw system sucked. But the rest of it was good I guess.
Also, FF X-2 wasn't needed. I kinda enjoyed a little it was fun for the most part. Kinda annoying and kinda girly. But i still found it enjoyable.
i dont like FF12 that much, just can't seem to get into the story, still planning on finishing it though
i see alot of people saying they don't like FF8 because of the draw magic system, but if you like the card game and learn the abilitys from your guardian forces wich allow you to convert your cards into magic (i believe from quetzalquotal) you can get the best magic times 600 (for every char 100) very easily... i ended up with 600 ultimas, breaks, full lifes, and so on without much of a effort

i disliked ff x-2 the most i think the were less similarities to ff 10 which took it away from it and the music score i wouldn't say was standing out.
