Okay, I admit, I was too lazy to read the article thingy, but the thread title says enough. 60 days? For raping a minor? In my eyes, that's as bad as being a murderer, no, maybe worse. When you murder someone, at least you don't leave them scarred for the rest of their days, traumatized by an event that occured years ago. I really have no tolerance for this kind of disgusting crap. I say lock the ****er and everyone like him up in a dark, doorless, windowless room the size of a cardboard box for the rest of his life, see what kind of trauma he suffers.

Well, I disagree with what the judge did, but I see where he's coming from. As a judge, he must see loads of rapists and people sentenced to long terms, just to see them get out and reoffend. In this sort of case I think prisoners should get rehab while IN jail, even if they are low-risk.

this brings back memories of an article I read about somewhere in south america where papers got mixed up and a sex offender who was a known paedophile ended up doing community service in a nursery. hah the law is all ****ed up these days, i just try to ignore headlines like these cause for each one i always end up writing massive rants about society today but now cause of it I have repetative strain disorder in my fingers. so those of you hoping for a big long rant go swivel on it :p

recently, a man and woman were prosecuted for the rape of their friends 12 week old baby. they were found out because of picture and video evidence on their mobile phones. i think it's sick, but i dont think child rapists should be put in jail. i think they should have a massive object rammed up their arse, so they know how it feels, and have their foreheads branded with a hot iron so people know what they've done. then they should be released to face the public, and the law should be made powerless to protect them from anything the public decide to do. i for one would be first in line to set them on fire.

in this case, they were sick enough to take photos and videos of what they did, and dna evidence proves beyond all doubt that it was them that did it. in cases where i'ts absolutely unquestionable who did it, my rule of justice should come into play. with child rape i think DNA is more conclusive, because the child is less likely to sit and scrub away all evidence, unlike an older person who clearly understands what has happened, and wants to erase all memory of it.

Justice because 60 days in jail is gonna be as much of a lesson as locking the guy on a bouncy castle and laughing at the Rapist because...to be honest, he's gonna enjoy every single part of breaking the law all because he's not getting punished.
