Has anyone seen the movie yet? I'm importing it soon hopefully... If you have seen it, what's it like?
I can't wait to see it, although it does mean I have to watch another 34 episodes before I can. (Which should take about 4 weeks, as I watch 2 a day on my PSP at school!)

I've seen a couple of trailers and things, but I don't really understand it. It seems Ed and Al have been transported into the real world (i.e. HERE) from the hagaren world (i.e. The World The Anime/Manga is set in), Buuut (and this is a BIG but), it seems Al isn't Al! He doesn't have the Alchemy symbol on his left arm, so I'm unsure as to what's going on, as according to my friend who's seen all 51 episodes, he doesn't lose it in the series. I just suppose I'll have to wait and find out! (is that a ;( or a :) ?!)

Dude I haven't even watched all of the series yet let alone some movie! lol. Do you know what it's actually about or anything? And yeah FMA is now on CN (yeah I the English voices sound gay, some are okay - some are REALLY bad lol. But I guess I can live with it - couldn't be bothered downloading them) liek everyday expect weekends so that's cool =D And yeah, when you Al isn't Al, is he still in that same suit or armour? Maybe they forgot to draw the symbol lol.

I know a bit as I've been reading up on the fansites and things, and it looks (and sounds) amazingly cool... I'll post up some info later as i'm at school at the mo!

Right, I've seen the movie, and all I can really say is "Flippin' amazing!". It twists away from the anime a bit, but the storyline is fantastic and the animation is mindblowing. There's a bit of CGI animation, but it's used sparingly and doesn't spoil the feel to the film at all. The primary use of CGI i've noticed is the mechs and a little bit of Al in the movie. And I guessed right, Al isn't Truely Al, although you could say he is (I won't spoil it though!). I think the film's set about 2-4 years after the end of the anime, as Al looks similar to Ed, and Ed is much older, about 20 I belive. He has a primitive automail, that has to be started with a pull-cord (like on a lawnmower! XD), but is pretty effective.
Ed is trapped in munich in World War II and works alongside a boy slightly younger than him, named Alphonse (who looks like Alphonse Elric!), designing rockets and missiles.
Al meanwhile, has been studying Alchemy with his tutor again (he forgot all his memories from the point Ed tied his soul to the armour), and hopes one day he will be able to return Ed to the alchemy world.
Many of the people in the real world look like those in the alchemy world, Characters appearing in both worlds include Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Ed & Al's Mum and Dad, King Bradley, and many others.

So that's kinda an insight into the movie without trying to spoil it, if you haven't seen all the anime, trust me, it gets amazingly good, and the movie builds on this further!

The movie is great! i'm glad they kept the same voice actors, althought there are some errors, for example, Alphons is brought back to normal and should not remember anything but sometimes he DOES remember somethings like it's no big deal.

The series was sweet but the ending was horrible. I head from my friends who have seen it that it is great. I don't beleive them though lol.:D
