View Full Version : [Advent Children] Advent Children hits 1,000,000 copies!

Yesterday Square Enix announced that it has sold over one million copies of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children in Japan. Three weeks after the release on 14th of September the movie had been bought 700,000 times already. Producer Shinji Hashimoto said: "I'm extremely happy that we managed to achieve sales that can only be called wonderful in particular for an original movie title."
After some serious delays Square Enix still wants to release the movie in North America and Europe after the succes of the movie in Japan. No release date has been announced yet though.

It should be coming out anytime, though, in the US at least. I've already seen advertisments for it in magazines, though there's yet to be an official announcement regarding release date. I've seen stores ranging the date from January - June. I dunno, though. But I've already seen it, so...I dunno if I'm still gonna see it. XD

Indeed. I don't have a particular moral problem with downloading a film early, so long as you buy it at sum point. I'm sure as hell getting the English version, AC was a brilliant film and I may buy 4 or 5 to give as presents! :D

Of course I'm buying it! I don't got it on DVD for one, so I can't watch it on the go. I sure hope it comes out soon, though. actually, I don't. I have no money. xD

Excellent, you can import one from America on UMD for my PSP! XD

I'm probably going to import it if I can afford it, if not, i'll wait for the UK DVD release!

YES! FFVII:AC gets an OFFICIAL US release date! Surely Europe will only have another couple of months to wait, so its looking good to be over here around June!
