What characters did you use?

For the main part I use Cloud, RedXIII, and Tifa. CLoud obviously for his strength and his Limit breaks, Red XIII also has good strength and his limit breaks are good. Tifa had good strength and I used her for Magic. :D

Barret was good but it seemed he just stopped getting stronger lol. It made me mad becaue he was one of my strongest than Tifa passed him up. And I liked Vincents Limit breaks.

Cloud,Tifa,Vincent for the most part. I'm trying to keep am all equal in lvl atm, expect for cloud. They gain lvls even when not in party but some are behind atm. I like to try and keep one girl in the party and have her be the healer, then the 2 others be attackers.

That's incredibly sexist!...Nah, kidding. I always have a tendency to keep one girl in the party, I never have it all guys unless I'm forced to by the game itself.

Only time i go all guys if i'm trying to lvl them. Otherwise I keep at least 1 girl in the party. It might be sexist to have the girl healer but I do it anyways XD

I usually just used Tifa and Barret. They were a good party for the most part. I had to put Vincent in every once and a while though. :P

Another combo that seems to work well for me is Cloud,Vincent and Cid. The 3 seems to be able to help me out on any bosses i'm stuck on and can kick some serious ass :D

Ya, I don't know. It might sound kind of messed up, but they're kind of inferior. XD I think the only one I used slightly was Tifa. She kinda' rocked. Good boobage, she had.

Erm...I liked using Red XIII. I've noticed alot of people here didn't, but I prefered him over pretty much every other character...bar the girls. XD

My main party would probably have been - Cloud, Tifa and Red XIII.

VERY rarely I switched Red XIII for Barret, just for the sake of the stuff he says lol.

One character I HATED to use and probably would never have used if it wasn't for having to use her occasionally in Disc One, would be Aeris. I found her a complete waste of space, bar the storyline.

Very good usage of the word "bar". :DYeah, I agree. I pretty much used Red the second I got him. His attack was really good and his magic even better. So yeah. I thought Aeris was kinda' useless, too. Though it wasn't as much her as it was the whole materia system. Why use her and her weak self when you could a character that could what she can and more?

I didn't find her a waist of time the first time of played, cause of course, I had no idea of the events that we coming up. I used her as much as I used any other characters (besides Cloud), but now whenever I'm playing it I tend not to bother with her since I'm going to loose her anyways.

Whoo, good thing I didn't use her at all. I was relieved that she wasn't on my team when [Noobey Spoiler Thing About Someone Dying Or Something Very Important!!!] No spoilers for the youngsters that haven't played THE best game on the universe!
Anyway, when that happened, it kinda' would've killed my party and I would've had to adjust everything from scratch, but I wasn't using her! ...Moo!

Varies from time-to-time. Cloud, Vincent, Cait Sith and Cid were the ones I always used. Cait Sith paid off in the long run, using his Slots to get me an instant win vs. Emerald Weapon.

Because I'm currently having trouble with a boss, I've been experimenting with different combinations.

My party usually either consists of:

Cloud, Cid, Red XIII
Cloud, Cid, Cait Sith

I just don't use the others that much, except when needed. I would use Vincent more, but I can't stand his limit breaks.

I can use any of them but love to use cloud, (duh) red13, Mr. Vin and the lovely ms. Yuffie. Sadly though Cloud's Finial Limit is is the only one in my gruop worth using in a long battle with a weapon.
