This is a new support job that uses guns as main weapon.
Thoughts?

Haha...camp pirate XD That AF will look nice on girls...but on guys?! :eek: Umm.. *.*
I wanna play that job! I liked WHM as support job but after a while it gets boring. Even though that armour looks REALLY silly XD I'm still gonna test that job out. =D

ARRRRRR IT FINALLY CAME!!! lol finally a pirate type job lol :X, i think they are gonna repalce rangers :d

No they definitely won't replace rangers, these are a strictly support job, so they will shoot guns at the party and it will enhance your stats or something like that o_O
It's not a weapon that has great fire power like a RNGs, but instead can support the party and give buffs.
The main concept is for it to be a party support type.

Still, it looks interesting.
(lol...still can't get over that PINK Artifact Armour XD)

Shoot guns at party members.... COMMISSARS!!!! lol, i can shoot fleeing Melee for their cowardice killing him/her, but also giving the party a haste statues due to FEAR!!! lol...

I heard that they are going to add another stat which is LUCK for this job.. Will LUCK affect other jobs now I wonder..

Okay i'm definately going to play FFXI now. But imagine all the n00bs trying out that class? One being me :P (haha too bad I don't plan to pay for any game except the purchase =P lol) and omg haha it sorta does look liek Jack Sparrow, even though you can't see the fact very clearly - you can make out a beard and all lol. OMG it should have liek a special spell thingy where it drunks rum and does some crap o_o (lol). And wtf support class only? GAY. Does it have anything to defend itself? lol.

well it will most likley be a advance job that you have to do a quest to unlock and for advance jobs you have to be atleats level 30 to even start the quest

yeah but it's a support class, so eh, maybe NIN, I think this job would be awesome at 75 for soloing if you subbed NIN

Hmmm, ionno...with BRD as sub you only get one song. x.x;
I'm not sure what would be a good sub. I don't think it's a job that relies on MP (but I could be wrong), and if their def etc is as weak as mages' (will probably be >.> )...if that is the case it'd have to be RDM or WHM sub (support healing etc just like BRD does) I guess, if not, perhaps THF or NIN. I doubt it's WAR :P

I guess it depends on what sort of offensive value it has. I guess something with a strong offense and no need of MP to cast spells might be able to use /WAR. Might be like BRD with /WHM or /RDM though o.O

Seems like a cool job, but first I need to start playing FF11 more. Then maybe I'll buy the expansion.

unless of course you need to go into the new areas to do the quest

Yeah, I'm getting the feeling Corsair is destinctly Norg~ish to me. With all the new NPC's rambling about the "Far East" since the last updates and stuff, I think Blue Mage might be only accessible in new set of areas avaliable with the expansion pck =O

I'm personally actually looking forward to the new areas more than the new jobs...I am getting tired of the same scenery everytime: everything between Bastok, Sandy, Windy And Jeuno *_*
Still, Corsair looks fun. :P and it wouldn't surprise me if Corsair was Norg-ish, the whole piratey-thing and all. o_o Yeah xD
