FF11 for Xbox 360 and Treasures of Aht Urghan launch date

Yesterday Square-Enix has annouced the launch date of the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XI and their new expasion called Treasures of Aht Urghan. It North America it will be available on April 18th and in Japan and Europe on April 20th.

Some of the features of the new expasion Treasures of Aht Urghan are:
- Uncover the tales and legends surrounding the Aht Urhgan Empire.
- New jobs: Blue Mage and Corsair.
- New powerful monsters (like the Mamool Ja, a powerful tribe of the beastman that hold dominion over the Mamool Ja Savagelands, a land hostile to the Near Eastern Aht Urhgan Empire).

The expasion doesn't require the 2 earlier expansions and will be sold separately for PC and PS2 users for a price of $29,99 (USD) at North American retailers. Xbox 360 users will get the game plus all 3 expasions (Chains of Promathia, Rise of the Zilart & Treasures of Aht Urhgan) for a price of $49,99 (USD).

xbox 360 with FF is kind of bad...FF should only be for PS/Nintendo.

I dont like how xbox is trying to do all this to get more people to buy their stuff. They should just stick with their own stuff and try not to mix it up with other stuff.

Like being compatable with PSP...come on, psp is for Sony stations not no microsoft.

thats like if PS3 had Halo series on it. Then that would cause xbox to go out of business...

Ummm..... I don't see why not. And well Square-Enix probably offered to Microsoft first (well i'm just assuming I could be wrong) about selling FFXI on the new Xbox 360, that also gets Square-Enix more money too by the way =P And "try not to mix it up with other stuff".... again why not? Crash Bandicoot did that, heck it was only originally with PS but then it went to all three, just like many other games which could of been on both PS and Nintendo, but weren't. Plus, now I finally get to try out FFXI which is meant to be so "great" according to the many players here on HHN =P lol. Yes so great and better than WoW and GW and yet they've probably haven't tried all of them (though I do know some people who play FFXI and have tried WoW or GW, or both), haha. Well yeah and I can't play on my PC cause it sucks, so i'd rather spend $600 (AUS money) on an Xbox 360 than $2000+ on a new DECENT computer.... wait no i'd actually get the computer :P xD. But you know... i'm gonna get the 360 ANYWAY for other games so yeah, unliek the comp.
