The forum system has been succesful upgraded to vBulletin 3.5.3! :D On first hand you see no difference, but there is! Can't tell them all, but a new feature is the plugin system what makes it easier to install plugins (mods or hacks).
Due to the upgrading the other styles are currently offline, since a couple of templates were out of date and needed to be reverted.
Also all hacks are not installed right now, but don't worry. I'll install them a.s.a.p.
Hope you like the upgrade and if you have any problems, please tell.

Nice! So are we getting the awesome super-duper battle hack anytime soon? :D And yeah, I can see some differences between this and old the old v-bulletin thingy.
Btw, I'm now using Firefox again, and there are some functions that don't work. Do you still have to add like, the shoutbox and stuff or is it my browser doing that?

...I quite liked the old one actually. I mean, this is cool, but I had a thing for the "images" style!!

Yeah i've noticed a few changes. What I really I hate about it is the fact that you have to click on the "Quick reply to this message" icon. Liek you have to click on that first, before you can start typing in the Quick Reply box. And for those who don't know, they're in the posts next to the quote button =/ And i'm missing the shoutbox too by the way =P lol. So what are the differences for the new RPG hack? I know that "Click the Button Before you Quick Reply" thing probably prevents spam but in most cases, that's just gonna slow people down posting anything and this'll sound lazy...but most people never posted when you just had to type so why the hell they'd go to the effort to click THAT, I'll never know. Like I said before...HHN has really fallen into a period of crappy darkness. No offence lol.
And Auron, if you meant me...I'm sure I was Level 39. xD
EDIT - Oh...and we don't know who's been online, we just know who's online. For me that was kinda important so I could tell if I'd missed anyone.
Yeah it is very annoying, for one I keep forgetting to sometimes click on and you know..... yeah it's just annoying =P Even though it's only one simple click xP. And Dalton I meant the MONSTER Arena, the highest level monster I can verse is lvl 33 and the next one you have to be lvl 37 to be able to challenge, so you know.... kinda gets boring versing the same monster lol. And lol I never noticed that (that the "Who's Been Online Today" feature wasn't there xP), yeah I sometimes liek to check the list too, but not a BIG issue.

There, disabled the click required to quick reply. It was disabled back on the old forum, but it enabled itself with upgrading...
The welcome panel is installed! It only took me 30 sec to install it! :P

The new features in the hack is purely backend rewrite, meaning its faster, more futuristic and most of all better templates.
You WILL like the new Healing Center though ;)
That's also one reason why it's taken so long, it's really boring to rewrite old stuff. But, it has to be done. After that, I will start adding some neat stuff here and there.
The most important feature being NO FILE EDITS, meaning all the Admins have to do to install/upgrade the hack is to upload the files then run the install script.
Anyways, I need to get back to creating the Readme file.

Team battles won't happen for a long time, as team battles are only feasible once ATB battle system is coded. And I got a long way to go before that happens.

Nooo my 500,000 odd money in the bank! Gone!Your money isn't gone, it's saved into the database. Only because the uStore hack isn't converted yet to vB 3.5.x you can't access the bank. According to the database your bank money is 682,265 Gil. :P
The problem with the shoutbox is that the same hack as on the old version isn't available for this version. I can install an other version, but I think all shouts will be lost then and the shout count? Does anyone care?

Oh PHEW. For a second there I thought I lost my near 4 million gil :P And umm... who cares about the shoutbox posts/shouts, I mean alot of is just random spam lol. So nothing to do with our RPG character stats will be affected with the new upgrade, right? And just a note, for some reason everytime I go onto the forums, on the main page it shows every "forum" (as in you know section eg. General, Entertainment, etc) as there being a new post, only when you check the date of the latest post, it might of been liek yesterday or a few days ago (and i've already checked those threads or something). Something to do with the new upgrade?

Pay some attention to formatting before going off on one, boyo. I didn't see an extra page, and when I last looked at the thread, Chris was the last person to have posted. You already know that I strongly advocate reading an entire topic before posting, and I'd read everything that was displayed to me at the time I'd originally displayed it.
Bitching at me about how I should read things when they're not appearing on my screen is unnecessary
Being more constructive, I don't think anyone really cares about the shoutbox counts, and it'll at least give us a chance to catch up again on some of the 'spammier' members :P
I can't see anyone caring about the shoutbox count, as it doesn't really mean much when you think about it.
I think it's more important to have the shoutbox there, rather than waiting for a new version to be made just so we can keep the shout count.

Shoutbox has been installed! It was also a very easy hack to install, just upload the product into Admin CP and it's there! :D
Currently it's at the top of the page, should I change it?
Expect the Arcade back online too soon! With games and scores intact, but a different system.

The problem with the images skin is that vbdesigns.de hasn't released a vB 3.5.x compatible skin. They don't hurry with free styles there...
Got the uShop installed with the bank function. So, soon you can access it again after the bugs are worked out.
Is it just me or am I not allowed to buy anything. For one I don't get how the Healing Center works. I was trying to heal myself of 144 HP, so I entered "144" in the slot, thing... whatever lol and yeah.... then what? It wouldn't let me click on "Heal Me!" either and when I entered the amount of HP the 0 which meant how much gil it was going to cost didn't change. Yeah, got anything on this? xP.

i'm glad the bank is safe. i think i have like 7 mil, not sure though. I'm not the best at counting decial places XD glad it is safe thouh, not like it really matters though. I'm gonna try to let it say how much when you hover over de trophy.
Good news, I've found a Gallery hack and installed it succesfully. I'm gonna test it to see if it's works right and have a look at the features. Here are some preview images I attached:
w00t finally we have a gallery hack again lol. Well you know, might get a gallery hack again.... or.... whatever lol. And yeah you should make it so it shows how much trophies you've won, but not too keen about the hovering over the trophy icon with your mouse - too much effort xD >< lol. Okay so not really but y'know i'd prefer if it just showed the number right there. Oh and maybe liek it also shows the top three ones? So the normal people just let's say get a gold trophy, whilst the 3rd, 2nd and 1st peoples gets slightly bigger trophies with the right colours and reading either 1st, 2nd or 3rd on it. Yeah.... if that's even possible lol.

But that's the thing. After putting in how much HP or something I want healed, I can't click the "Heal Me" button. It just...doesn't move. How do I do it?
You need to use the Tab key to activate the Heal Me button. After inputting a number of HP/MP/PP, just hit Tab.
It's a necessary evil due to the amount of exploits it fixes.

Detected the problem: Healing Cost for HP and MP was set at 0 in the AdminCP, thus the Javascript thought you didn't alter the value for HP (since the total cost was 0).
This has now been fixed, the JS correctly recognises a change now.
Edit: Actually I see there's a wee bug with the healing cost transferring into the Heal CP. I'll have to debug that in about 2h.
For now, its free healing all around it seems XD

It would incorrectly calculate a healing cost of 0.5 as 0. This has been rectified to make the system count 0.5 as 1. Note that if you select the healing options in such a way that you'd get 2x 0.5, the system does not calculate this as 2. It will correctly calculate this as 1.
Example #1: You heal 9 HP. Each HP costs 0.5 Gil to heal. The system will make you pay 5 Gil.
Example #2: You heal 5 HP and 5 MP. Each HP and MP costs 0.5 Gil to heal. The system will make you pay 5 Gil.
Also, the display has been altered to make the display of Healing Cost more user-friendly.
Another problem, I visited a few threads and they brought me to Imageshack (just like the main page, whatever). I went to the thread by this way - Main Page > Our Lives > The HHN Gallery and also, Main Page > Our Lives > Happy Birthday Scott ^_^ and they both brought me to Imageshack. However, when I went to "Happy Birthday Scott ^_^" thread via. this way Main Page > Happy Birthday Scott ^_^ (cause it's the last posted in thread of that forum) it worked perfectly fine. Is that just my comp. or what? I'm assuming my computer, but it could be something else?

Run a spyware check, there are spyware things out there that can hijack your intarwebs and redirect you to places.
Hmmm.... yeah okay I might just go do that. Thanks I guess lol. Sometimes when I go to various sites they bring me to a blank page with the link "www.go-gaia.com" (which is the old link to Gaia Online) and then when you click on that it yeah... obviously brings you to Gaia Online. It's just with any site really but it's not a common thing, happens on my sister's comp. too (it's not like it happens once or twice a week, less than that).

whenever i go to the healing center, type a value for.... let's take MP as an example.... i click to let them calculate the right Gil.... it calculates, and let me click heal me.... i click... and.... it gives me a white page with only the number of gil.

For the members who noticed that now you really have to look at a thread before it comes read, it's because the new version comes with a different thread marking system. The old version used cookies (which will be lost when your idle for a time) and the new one uses the database to store it.

Fixed Bug: Non-Super Administrators with Can Administer RPG? Yes were not allowed access to the RPG's Administrative features.
Took me 2 hours of constant stress, that did.

The alternatives would either be to display decimal healing cost per stat (IE HP cost 0.5 Gil) which IMO looks gay, or to have it display 1+1=1 Gil which looks equally as gay.
Also, if I round it down, the system "loses" money.
I will ponder on this and maybe come up with a solution.
Yeah I noticed that Ziddy, is there a way where you can enable a feature so members can turn it off for them or on if they like? Because it's really kinda annoying and whatnot lol. Sometimes I just go view the thread even though it doesn't interests me for that very reason, not all threads though, just some of the ones in the "forums" I view.

There a change that some things doesn't work right yet, hope to fix it asap.
Question. Can there be something done about the name of the pages we view around the forum? By that I mean if you look at the type of your browser, it'll probably say "[nameofwhateveritisyourviewing] - Hell and Heaven Net // Forums" and when I go to my history to go and look at pages that I lost the link to and wanna see again or forgot the link, etc it's kinda hard to view through with all the HHN stuff since it's not in order liek my other forum stuff xP. I know it's not a big thing and I probably sound liek a little fussy girl (o_o.....) but yeah.... if you can.... yeah xP. Thanks.

The reason why the name of the thread is now before the forums title is because it's better for search engines to look into threads. I didn't do this, this is vB's work.

Why should I? I don't like RPG Inferno at all. The bad look it has, the coding and the less options in the free version. I wouldn't pay a penny to that system... This is my opion about it.
And if you saw I already have RPG Integration installed.
Is RPG Inferno the one where you can't actually use your spells or items and you have two choosen between two random attacks given to you during your turn? Cause if that's the one, then compared to the one we have now or had before, it's pretty crap lol. All the weapons do it just add onto your strength or whatever =/ And right okay then, just thought it was only me xD. Well I've got enough money to last awhile, so i'll live (not that i'll buy much anyway lol).

I've seen RPG Inferno 2.4 in action, and it's very boring. Sure, it has a lot of features, but so does NeoRevan's / Belazor's. Since it's still in development, there isn't much up right now, because it's still in testing. But for example, there's absolutely no life in Zero Tolerance's battle system. You see a table with your stats and your opponent's stats, and then you pick what you want to do, there's no unique sprites or anything. But, it's still a good system, but this one is better.

I've installed a small plugin that seperates the sticky and the normal threads. We had this also back on our old board, but vBulletin doesn't even had this feature.

Just installed a couple of hacks.
First the Top X Statistics is back! We had this back on our old forums and I though let's get it back. Hope people won't go spamming the place now. ;)
Also installed a small hack that prevents images posted to stretch the whole table, a hack that prevents double posting and one that detects multiple accounts.
