Today Square-Enix Inc. and Buena Vista Games have announced the release date for their sequel Kingdom Hearts II for PlayStation 2 and they reveiled the English voice cast of the game.

The release date will be March 28, 3½ years after the release of the original Kingdom Hearts (which has sold over 2.6 million copies in North America), more than 1 year after the KH: Chain of Memories for the GameBoy Advance and the recent release of Kingdom Hearts II, which sold over 1 million copies in only 3 days!

Here's a list of voice actors who will contribute to the game:
Sora: Haley Joel Osment;
Riku: David Gallagher;
Kairi: Hayden Panettiere;
Roxas: Jesse McCartney;
Diz: Christopher Lee;
Cloud: Steve Burton;
Tifa: Rachael Leigh Cook;
Aerith: Mena Suvari;
Yuna: Hedy Buress;
Rikku: Tara Strong;
Paine: Gwendoline Yeo;
Mulan: Ming-Na;
Hades: James Woods;
Chicken Little: Zach Braff.

hmm, i see they couldn't/didn't get some of the same voice actors that they had in KH, well at least not for aerith. Ek oh well, I can't wait :D *starts saving up lunch money*

Chicken Little's in there? YEAH! Zach Braff is one of my fave actors! I havn't seen CHicken Little yet, but that's gonna be awesome!

Glad they're consistent with the cast. ie. Tara Strong and the dvent Children cast. I hate it when people faff around with teh voices all the time.

ZOMG. If I am reading correctly then Jesse McCartney is going to be one of the voice actors? As in Jesse McCartney.... the gay American teen pop singer (okay he's not gay, but.... >.> lol) o_o Hahahaha rofl.

Alright! Can't wait, I've never played KH but what the hell, I can borrow it from Lukeman sometime! Quite a good voice cast they've got there

Oh, and Lukeman, Chicken Little will not be awesome... It's 3D animation by disney WITHOUT pixar (Blasphemy!)

I should probably play KH through again before I get this... I havn't even fought Sephy yet!!!!

But yeah, this is gonna be great, though I may wait till aftetr I have FFXII.
