I just finished watching all the episodes on youtube (dubbed) and I really liked it. My sister has volume 2 and 3 (got 1 at library) and I love it! My favorite character is Hatsuharu, he stands up for everyone.

My most favourite character in the anime is Shigure but in the manga it's Kyo-kun aka Kyon-Kyon aka Kyonkichi lol

Did you know that Kyonkichi can either mean Chinese Demon or Hopping Vampire lol

Fruits Basket is a nice anime. :D At first I thought I wouldn't like it cause the art style is kind of shoujo style (and I don't tend to like shoujo manga very much), but...I do! xD It's just nice and light hearted. =D Well, a lot of the time anyway. My fave char is Kyon-Kyon :D he is a lot like a person I know, actually, even got the same aircolour xD That little German boy annoys me, no idea why...he just does. xD Also I actually prefer the dub in this anime, Yuki in the sub sounds more feminine than Tohru! honestly *_*!

Edit: LOL!!! I just saw episode 6...AHAHAHAHA that was hilarious! OMG that was the shiznit, I want to watch it again, Shigure is so stupid XD

lol I didn't think I was going to like the dub voices but everyone is alright so far except for Momiji's voice.

I have yet to hear Haru, Kisa, Saki, Arisa, Hiro and Kazuma's dubs.

I loved the anime because it's very sweet all the way through but the manga is a little darker. That's why if I could only pick one then Kyo is my most favourite character because I adore him so much plus I'm a Nekozuki lol...... still you get a little confused with the dub sometimes.......

Yeah Momiji is annoying as hell, with his "wehhhhhhh" GAWD I wanna spank him @.@
I think Haru's and Akito's dubs are the best so far, and Ayame sounds like a camp xD Saki's VA is good, suits her imo, quite serious and Gothic like, lol.
Though I have to say this..I feel sorry for Kyon-kyon ; ;

Ya, turning into that thing... I liked Akito.. even though my sister didn't, but I thought he was delightfully (sp?) evil! He was like Cartmen on South Park, with the whole, "You will respect my authorita!" and then smaking Yuki up lol. Shigure, what a perv lol, he waits for highschool girls... but like, he's like 26.. and they're like 16-17... what's up with that?

The series wouldn't be the same without Akito, even if he does only have a few appearances. I think his Voice actor is very good, btw. xD Suits his character well.
Having said that...RITSU ARE MOMIJI ARE SO ANNOYING. Ritsu is so emo and Momiji is so loud and whiny xD

I think the manga continues where the anime leaves. I don't really know this, but it ended some time ago... erm... ask Freya, she's the one who told my sister and myself about it lol.

Oh I can tell you. John's sort of right. Basically the 26 anime episodes come from chapters of volumes 1 - 7 of the manga.

There's 17 volumes of the manga. I am kinda disappointed that Rin/Isuzu never got to be in the anime even though she dresses a hooker lol

I'm tempted to get a bunch of people together and do a live action version of the series, with myself playing Kagura, but I wouldn't know where to start lol (still I think it would be cool to make it like an extention on the anime!)

Well you see in the anime they put 7 before 6 and they could of got away with ending the manga there but they chose to see the story through to the end....... I'm actually starting to get fond of Rin after reading Volume 12 @__@
