Essentially, I'm saying that you're wasting your time, energy, and mental capacity learning or just messing around trying to speak, a completely fictitious language which only the saddest individuals will ever be fluent in. In addition, I'm mocking you by suggesting that you occupy the same space in society as those who learn such other fictitious languages such as Klingon and Elfish, and implying that that space is shared by transvestites, being only one social rung higher than emo kids.

there are some made up languages that I think have brilliance in them, like Tolkein's Elvish, but he WAS a language nut - so yah... but I wouldn't learn it, even if there are clubs in schools that 'teach' it nowadays... O_o

And guys, please don't post using Al Bhed if your going to post in a section list this please do it in english, even if the topic is about al bhed, people shouldn't have to convert to a translator to understand what your talking about. There's a mini-game in the forums for al bhed talk.
Back on topics:

I think al bhed was cool, I don't have any idea if square-enix invented it or what not but it was a good addittion to FFX, made a change. I never got around to collecting all the books though and I use to know the whole letter converting without using a translator but it kinda just slipped out of my mind now.

Why do they hate the al bhed? well if you paid attention it's because they were using Machina, which was forbidden by the relgion Yu Yevon.

kedked is right they were persucated for using machina and when crusaders helped them they were ostricazied for what they did but in X-2 they are forgiven and machina is part of there culture cause they know it is very important to there culture.

Tharrick I do have to say the first few times it's funny, but after a while it does get old, quickly :/ And then it's not funny anymore. Now as for al Bhed, I thought it was fun to decypher the codes ^^ I liked Rikku as well (first game only though, in FFX-2 she sucked).

X-2 is a different game and Yevon iteself doesn't exist, per say, Yevon himself doesn't exist and the religion was only made because of sin so it's purpose kind of fails now.

At the end of FFX-2 I was kind of hoping they'd make a different twist to the old love scene, whereas Tidus is back so maybe sin was reborn was it ended showing sin or something, but it didn't kinda disapointing really >_>
