Basically the topic question lol.
My school doesn't, but it probably will after the whole "hell" thing.... But it is funny when I'm on, because my friends won't know how to look at the address and type it in. :D I was playing tetris in the arcade and we're not allowed to play games, even though there are plenty of ways to get passed it.:rolleyes:
now it is and so is every site too at my school. because of those who looked up hentai and porno.
Our (Me, Lukeman, Rai) school doesn't block it, which is strange, as most other interesting sites are blocked (including wikipedia for a while!)
They've blocked the OE forums now, so I don't think it's long before this one goes too!

No my school doesn't block this site but it DOES block MySpace, which pisses me off... but I found a way around it... I go to my gmail account and click on one of the emails that tells me when i get a new message and go to it from there lol

Wikipedia shouldn't be blocked, it's an awesome resource. In fact, I got most of the facts for my last oral presentation (on the biology of bone cells) from that site.
On the other hand, since Myspace is mostly full of giant emos, it should be blocked by ALL computers :P

The google translate loop... by translating the site from english to english, you're able to visit most of the blocked sites...

Yea, Wikipedia isn't blocked on my school computers, used it for my World War 1 project last week. I agree what Myspace should be blocked by all computers though lol

I don't trust wikipedia lol, and neither does my school. I don't trust it because like, random people can just put stuff up! I don't trust them for reports lol.
You know what I find funny? They block the porn sites, but if you type in the porn star's name you can get to the site.:eek: I saw this the other day lol. Some kids were looking at it in Comp. Class.
wikipedia is not trust worthy it gave WW2 tanks instead of WW1 so dont trust it as a resource reasons already in johns post above literally anyone can make an addition to anything so when you do a report back it up with other sites as well.
yeah google search cannot be blocked so i use image results then go in through there.

Wikipedia gave me 66% in my oral presentation which was the highest in my group. The only reason I didn't score higher was because I rushed it a bit

My school doesn't block it. It does however when people type words like porn and hentai ; ;
But considering I can toggle the word filters via my AdminCP so certain words get astrick'd out usually school filters just woosh over it.
By and by, for sites that are filtered my friends and I have a database of online proxy servers, we work our way through one by one as the ICT department picks them up and bans the URL's :D

I don't know what to do either, I could get all my hi-scores back if i could play on the arcades at school ;_;
Mine currently doesn't block this site, but if I access it enough while there it might get blocked (like deviantart).
I was sorta surprised when I found it didn't block here seeing as it blocks anything else remotely interesting ...

my school hasn't blocked it yet but they will proably before end of the year they are trying to block every forum and video game sites on internet which is just complete stupidity cause all of my classmates know how to get around most of the blocks.

My school (which I just got on) hasn't blocked my website and I think they won't do it. Everyone has his own account and it's your responsibility. If it was blocked I'm bored...

Hey I don't know all my classmates get on site that is blocked and they are always talking about how they can make it unblockable and some who make sites are always saying they are going to make there sites unblockable so they can get on it all the time.
heh your school will hate me for telling you this but you can get around the blockage by accessing the internet via microsoft frontpage (or whichever one was used for making websites). We discovered it a while back. Although I dunno what measures your school has in place.

we use MACS and the people that block sites is TWO TREES that all I pretty much know.

They probably use a proxy that finds out the IP address, and then you access the site with that, not the URL... It doesn't mean it's "Unblockable", it means they can access it when it's blocked ^^
I've never heard of Two Trees, we have RM Safety Net at our school... And it's evil!

Not really.. not that I use school to visit any website. Whenever I'm using the PC at school I must complete my movie project.. no time for other stuff.

It's called an IP address
You can use This site (http://www.selfseo.com/find_ip_address_of_a_website.php) to obtain the site's IP address... However, for some sites the IP address will link to the server, not the actual site, and you will be asked to give a username and password. The server won't access the site, it'll access all the files that make up the site
But if the school blocks the site, it's highly likely it'll block the IP too
My college just about blocks everything with the word 'gaming' in it. Although I don't know about this site as I onl discovered it accidentaly at home.

I checked at school today, and yes it has blocked this place. They block everything, even this site I needed to go on in order to find info on my english assessment. Stupid school computers....

I'm probably the only person in my school who knows about Hell and Heaven Net. But once thing really sucks: my school blocks the sites Friendster and YouTube.
well..no not yeat at least and even if, i would just go to a proxy web site u can get around any thing in that. in school i b playing dragonfable with ma friends and i never get cought. ma school block a lot of thing im jus lucky it dnt block this site.:D :P

Well my school didn't blocked this site yet they only have blocked the shoutbox.
If they where blocking this site i would use a Proxy server or Remote to my pc at home.
Darn it! I just found out today that in one of our computer rooms (Room 404) Hell and Heaven Net was flagged! I was frustrated: what could be wrong with HHN?! I was definitely irritated and the computer said, "You need the Administrator's Password to be able to view this site" something like that. Whoever did that, please fix it!!!

I really don't know I've never visited this site on campus. I can't think of ANY reason in particular for them to block this site, it would not really make sense.
