Anyone seen this? I saw it this last friday when it opened in theaters. I thought it was pretty good, but had some cheesy parts to it, and a lot of cliches. The main character wasn't as cold hearted as I thought he would be. However, he was pretty cold when it came to his duties and his fighting. You can definitely see the influence of the Matrix series in this film in the final battle, where you can see the smudge lines and blurred effects from the motion of his blades (bullet time, anyone?) when he moves around. I still recommend it to any action film fans, and any drama film fans. It's got a good story telling tone to it.
It's not out yet here, I think it's being released either this Thursday or next week. I saw the preview for it and it looked pretty cool and like an enjoyable action film. I've heard of Vendetta before... what is this movie based on? (well i'm assuming it is, if not then feel free to correct me ; ) xP) And yeah what's it about, etc =P

You'll have fun seeing it, it's interesting to watch the odd characters. :P
Auron, it's based on the graphic novel "V For Vendetta", I can't recall the author though.
You'll be able to find out who "V" is if you exercise your theories along with the movie.
I can't wait to see this movie, gonna see it sometime soon. My brother's friend is like obsessed with comics, and he's read the original VfV graphic novel, and says it's good. Can't wait.
It looks pretty good and if there was a movie I could watch right now,it'd be Vendetta.The name is kind of odd though.
Whaddya mean by that Krytikal? lol You mean "V" as in "Vendetta"? Is he a bad or good guy? xD. I'm assuming good, just he looks a pretty scary and with what you said about him being cold when performing his duties and fighting, but I guess that's just when he fights, it's "brutal"? Yeah well the name is kinda like "well yes that's right Vendetta starts with V!Now you can spell, yay for you o_o" lol.

LOL! Well, in the movie, everyone calls the main character "V" because every time he does something to either a person or a location... he always leaves behind a "V" somewhere. That's all I can really say without giving spoilers. lol
But yeah, you'll find out who "V" is really supposed to be. And yeah, he's brutal. It's like he has a split personality. One who is nice and caring for the girl... and the other personality being a ruthless and cold hearted killer. lol
It's really a good movie, though. It has a lot of cool scenes in it, and the fight scenes are well done and very entertaining, especially the final fight scene as I mentioned before. I'm definitely going to buy this when it comes out on DVD. :)

To be honest, yeah I agree with Kryt, some parts were kinda cliche - like the start of the movie:
Where he saved her from that gang..and asked her if she wanted to come see something with him, "Yeah ok" o.o; I know for one that if some Zorro-freako with a mask saved me from a gang, and had weapons on him, asked me if I wanted to go see something I wouldn't go "yeah okay!" O_O
But after that imo it got really good! Has some down to earth and true messages in it, about how the goverment lies, how homosexuality was looked upon back then, etc. Very good movie. I love it ^_^
I just seen this movie with my sister today, DAMN I'm glad I saw it, I'm getting this on DVD. xD V was feggin' wicked... but...
It was real sad when he died, I was like "... God damnit..." when it happened...
I totally loved the ending and the story though, everything came back together, I havent noticed any plotholes at all in the movie! Rank this movie for me, a B for Brilliant!

With a bit of luck I'll be seeing this tonight, hope it's all as good as you've been making it out to be. You've all psyched me for it, so if I don't like it I know who to blame :P

I like the final battle scene, where they all unload their semi automatic magazines into him, and he just falls back into the wall, then goes around cutting everybody up like a pie. lol Although, that scene needed more realism to it though with the blood and the way it was squirting.
It should come out on DVD around November or so, since it's such a big hit in the box office.

About the spoiler...
I personally don't think so o-o I liked it when he thudded against the wall and the blood was basicly painted on it, I thought that was realistic enough, even when the bullets were hitting him a ton =P
As for the DVD release, I hope it comes sooner... I want it so bad T~T Such a good movie, finally a good one :P

You weren't the only one......really. It's a really good feeling.
I've always had the urge to make things go boom... the movie just made said urges stronger >.> But awsome movie, gonna prolly got see it at least 3 more times with my buddies lol
Still haven't seen it but heared it's pretty good. going to see it at the cinema with friends soon enough I guess.

Even though I heard A LOT of crap about this movie I still watched it and I thought it was pretty... AND OMG!!!! Am I the only one who thinks that when she kisses him it's the MOST RIDDICULISLY FUNNY THING IN THE WORLD... I couldn't stop laughing, which kinda killed the mood (In a quiet and dark room alone with the guy I'M TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH!!!!)
