First off, I have to say, THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!
Don't read unless you want to know things about Kingdom Hearts II (The English Version.) I have Marked down the catagorys though as well (Final Fantasy, Combat, Worlds, BIG SPOILERS, ect.)
Thank you.
Xyrin's Status Thusfar::.
Day 1: 13 hours and 27 Min of Gameplay. Level 25.
Day 2: 19 hours and 39 Minutes of Gameplay. Level 38.
Day 3: GAME COMPLETED!!! 27 hours and 18 minutes of gameplay. Level 49.
Okay, so I didn't have work today, so I was able to get Kingdom Hearts II at around 10 PM, and I've been playing it since.
Let me tell you about the Final Fantasy Characters I've seen so far.
Final Fantasy Characters::.
Seifer and his gang: Fujin, Rajin, and Vivi (YES HE DOES TALK O_o)
Leon (Squall), Yuffie, Aeith (Aeris)
Auron (He's so bad ass, by the way.)
Setzer... Yeah, I didn't see it coming either. But apparently Setzer is in the game, at the beginning might I add.
Cloud (He kind of talks strangly in this one... And I know Sephiroth is in the game, but I havn't come upon him yet, so I wont be adding him until I SEE him for myself.)
Sephiroth (I havn't seem him actually FIGHT Cloud yet though.)
Yuna, Rikku, Paine (They all look like little fairy things O.o but yeah..lol. They are still cute.)
Tifa (She seems to be a "Loaner". The only person she wants to be with and talk to is Cloud, and he doesn't exactly want to talk to anyone but Sephiroth of Aerith...Poor Tifa..)
Combat::.
As for the battles, well..Let's just say there's been some MAJOR improvments. You can do so much with the Triangle button. Counter-Attacks, in one of the boss battles you actually use objects in the room to hurt him, double keyblades, and so-forth.
Some people MIGHT be wondering how the battle system works and everything. (I don't know, cause I didn't look at any spoilers.)
But, there are regular Limit Breaks, special Limit Breaks, The Summons are kinda weird (Have only used summoning once so far..have only gotten Chicken Little =/ lol) But the Double Weilding limit breaks, you have a guage. It starts out only at 3 but it can grow bigger. (Lol..Grow bigger..) Now it must be compleatly full for you to use your "Driver" (as it's called in the game)
There are 3 Drivers (I think anyways) and I have 2 so far...
1st: Valor - Very fast attacks, double-weild.
2nd: Magic Galore (as I like to call it) - Very fast casting speed, no need for MP.
3rd: I'm guessing it's the Summoning Ability O.o
4th: Master Ability - Even FASTER than Valor, more combo's than Valor, more damage than Valor, better with magics as well, and you double-weild as well.
Unkown: 3 times has this happend to me... Sora transforms into this Dark-Entity at random (I have no idea how to do it, it has just happend to me randomly.) But, he looks bad ass... He also has some fast attacks and some awesome combo's. (He crawls around the monster while scratching the hell out of it.)
Oh, and also, when I said "Special Limit breaks" I was talking about when you are with heroes from the world. If you have full MP then you can pull it off (It uses up ALL of your MP though.)
Let's say you are with Auron (My favorite 'Special Limit Break' so far, might I add.) You are fighting a bunch of Heartless and you just want them to go away..and you happen to have Full MP. In the command box, right above it will show "Bushido" (Auron's Special Limit.) Use it and you can pull off a chain of devistating attacks. (The best way I see to do as much damage as possible is just to hit Triangle and X as fast as possible.) After you do that for a while, you will use the special and do even more damage.
So far I have around 11 Hours of play on this game..So let me tell you about the levels so far, and which ones are the funnest.
Worlds Fun/Difficulty::.
Before I go on through this, there might be some spoilers, but I have to say that the worlds are not exactly like Kingdom Hearts... Kingdom Hearts too mainly stuck with the storyline of each movie exactly. (Except for a few I guess o.o) and a with just a few changes.
"Beauty and the Beast" as Aeyze put it (I am too far from the TV, so I can't check >_>): This is a fun sort of level, not too confuzing at all (Like some KH worlds..*ahem* Tarzan *ahem*) but you learn how to basically use your fighting skills, and learn how to use your "Special Limit Breaks" as I stated above. It wasn't too dificult for me at all, actually. This whole game so far has been a breaze for me (As was the last game, only boss I had trouble with on the first was Cerebrerus)
Olympus: Now this level I thought was the funnest thus far. It has a VERY nice character you get to use (I don't want to spoil everything, ya know?) and the fights are fun and everything else. The only bad thing is, is that you don't get to use your "Driver" abilities for a while...Damn them!
Pirates of the Carribean: Now I was getting a mixed thought of what this might be like... And I'm going with half and half. I loved killing the Skeletons and all, but as Aeyze said, she didn't think it looked right..And it sorta doesn't. Especialy when they are standing right next to eachother, it looks sort of like a cheesy green screen effect. And to top it off, they cut out a lot of the story from the movie, so unless if you've seen the movie, you won't get too much of what is going on, not to mention I think the movie showed a lot more "Feeling" in it than KH2 has. Lack of story, but it sure is fun beating the hell out of the skeletons! (When fighting them, you can ONLY hurt them in the skeleton form..you do nothing to them when they are in their "Human" form. Meaning you must be under moonlight to do any damage to them..Which is a great little twist I thought.)
Ancient China: It was fun fighting with "Ping" (That's the name of Mulan when she acts like a man so she can be in the Army) I thought this level was okay..A little bit difficult because you have to kill the Heartless in a time limit, and keep an annoying gauge up. If the Guage runs down to 0 then you get a Game Over... Which I have only gotten once so far. (I am currently on "Normal" Difficulty.) This level was okay though (The fire effects when hitting the rockets and such was cool =D) But other then that, it was a decent level.
Twilight Town: This is the town you start off in (For like 3-4 hours might I add) There are tedius little things you must to before venturing off, but there's a catch..you don't start off as Sora. You start off as a boy named "Roxas". Who ends up being able to use something that he probably shouldn't. There are a lot of weird things that happen in this town, you will be confused mostly through it, but it keeps you interested enough to keep playing on.
Steam Boat Willy: Okay...I have to say that I was a little annoyed by this, and I'm sure you guys thought it would be annoying as well. Well, let's just say that the "Style" is the Old Cartoon based, so the characters act as they are supose to. But Sora, Donald, and Goofy all act like normal, they just look different. Combat feels the same, though the fights in this place are easier then anything I've ever seen. It's more along the lines of, "Okay, hurry up so I can get to the next part." But it's kind of interesting how the threw it into the game nontheless.
Atlantica: Okay, I am getting this off my chest. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST WORLD OF THEM ALL X_x There is NO fighting...All this place is, is a "Mini-game" as you can call it..The mini-game isn't even all that fun. All it is, is one of those "Press this button at the right time." It's annoying, and boaring, and you have to sit through the crappy music that they play while doing this. (Sorry, but I hate the songs deeply.) This is the world I wish I could just STAB and get it over with... but no..It has Chapters you must complete! YAY! -_- Not to mention you need certain Magics and other abilities to go through the Chapters... Is by far the most annoying stage thus far.
The Lion King: This was a neat idea that they did, and it fits pretty well too. But by the time I got to this part, I already knew exactly what to do..I wasn't a "Trainee" anymore, the fact is that I totaly owned every world of this game with a breeze. So difficulty wasn't a factor, (I only had 2 "Difficulties" through out the whole game) but still, getting to run around as a little Lion was sorta cool.
Agribah: This was a fun one (The first time around, the second one was kinda boaring.) Monsters were kinda fun to smack around, and Aladin's special kicks ass O.o
This is all I have for now..Check later for more updates!
Side Note: I know I don't have perfect spelling..deal with the miss-spelling of names and words. >.o! Also more posts will have to be made. (Due to the 1,000 post count limit) So read down on different pages to see the rest of my thread!)
