Just wondering what peoples opinions are on it. My physics teacher and I were discussing meeting the CO2 level thingies in the UK, by phasing out fossil fuels and introducing more sustainable energy. Did you know that there are no more sources of natural gas left in the north sea? Likely we'll face a gas shortage sometime in the near future, England is right on the end of the pipeline running from russia across Europe, so other countries are tapping off gas for themselves (understandably), in cold winter for example, where volumes of gas used in households and powerplants increases, there might not be any viable volumes of gas left in the pipeline when it gets to us...
Anyway, talk about being side tracked. As per the Kyoto agreement (I think, this is all off the top of my head), we've goto lower our Carbon Diozide emissions (among other things) by some year in the future, what do you think is the best way? Not just for the UK of course, though I know a lot of topics in this section revolve around the UK, (which is a nice change, any other forum I visit is the majorit of active members being of American or Cadian origin) Do you think it's important to lower carbon emissions etc? Does it bother you? What do you think the best plan of action might be?
