Hi everyone.
I love composing music, and it's one thing I'm pretty talented at. Unfortunatly, I'm not the best at actually playing an instrument. Because of this I compose with music notation software. One of the most well known of these is Sibelius. I don't use that as I find the interface awkward to use, so I use a product called "iMake sheetmusic" from Midisoft.
However, this I've gotton about as much out of this program as I can, I need something more advanced. Namely, a program that:
- Has a realistic sound library
- Plays rolls, trills, etc.
- Exports as .MP3
Does anyone know where I could find such a program? Or at leat a way to make my pieces sound more realistic. I know there is a software device called "Kontakt" which comes with Sibelius, I would like to know if there are any similar programs out there for those of us without Sibelius.
