does anyone know how Yojimbo works?
i knwo you have to pay him, but does the ammount you pay him have any effect to how he attacks? To me, hes the most useless aeon in the game, i just keep paying him 1 gil and hope he dies XD

Yeah, the amount of gil you pay him does effect your attacks =)

At 100% overdrive there's the possibility he can use Zanmoto, the most powerful attack in the game with the ability to insta-defeat any boss (aside from Yu Yevon) ((At least as far as I know)) But from what I gear paying him about 1/3rd of your gil and there's a 90% possibility he'll perform the attack, no idea how it's calculated for other attacks though D;

You have to build up his like 'friendship', if he doesn't get killed or you don't de-summon him. It goes alot quicker, I kept paying him 100gil everytime I used him and pretty much now, he uses zanmato 1/5 times when I summon before I pay him and 1/3 he uses zanmato after being summoned.

But, he isn't really worth it unless you want to breeze through the dark aeons, the bosses are all pretty easy.

Once I paid him 1500Gil and he did Zanmato:D

So I think its down to luck.

if you pay him nothing he just dimisses himself.

you have to pay him a decent amount or sometimes higher for him to use a good attack

all i know is that the more you pay him the more chance u have of him doing something good

if you pay good money he can beat everyone...

its a good aeon if you give him a good amount and is a huge help on fighting the dark aeons

if you pay him the right amount he can be a big help 0n fighting the Dark aeons
