Trade your virtual money for real currency

Saw this while I was indecently loitering around the bbc news website -

Just wondering on peoples opinions of the whole thing. personally I believe its quite an original and good idea, it in a way kinda stops people losing all their social life lol since they'll want to spend their hard earned cash :P. I guess though there will be some kind of catch... nothing is ever as good as bbc news makes out :P

lol at first I thought you were talking about other MMORPG's like WoW, FFXI or Guild Wars, but it's some other game where you can trade money (legally) and whatnot. But damn dude, that's ALOT of money. And is it that game like the Sims only with alot more other features (eg. as mentioned in the article - hunting and mining)?

Yeah i've never heard of this MMORPG O_o But apparently it's really popular? And yeah that seems like a really cool idea. Though i'm sure some people have only lost some money from playing it.
