Not sure what the deal is with outside England, but I have the impending doom of exams coming up in the next few weeks D: AS-exaaaaams!
Study leave starts on Friday (next week) and I think I'm gonna DIE. I have 17 exams over the next month or two, three general studies exams - Science, Cultural and Technology (I think) domains, I'm retaking my Biology paper and Chemistry Foundation from January, on top of that I have two further chemistry and two more biology papers and 2 physics papers. At least all my coursework is over and done with.
But AH! Gonna have to work hard on these over the next few weeks, gotta prove my teachers wrong and beat my predicted grade (:< Anyone else got any exams coming up? Or you wanna share your revision techniques ~ I swear to God I cannot revise properly to save my life xD I hate it. I have the attention span of a 3 year old ^.^

17 is a bit over the top! How many AS's are you doing in total? You look to be a bit of a scientist, good for you! Too many people doing the useless courses like psychology and media and that sort of thing.
I have three exams coming up in the next fortnight.. my finals for this year in university! :-/ I really should do some revision, but likewise, I can't revise for the life of me. I'm so gonna fail! :(

Bah! Psychology, sociology, media studies etc are all doss lessons! D:<
I take Maths, further maths, biology, advanced physics and chemistry xD Cringe away! I love all my subjects though har. Though revision may just kill me.

Yeah, that is pretty cringe-worthy! I did similar back in the day, Physics, Maths, Computing, and Business Studies. Although I know the workload from doing 5 is pretty heavy.
You've got to do General Studies as well as your 5 other subjects? That's harsh! I know in my school, and others as well, general studies is like a replacement for a fifth course. So people who did 4 did GS as well, but people who did 5 subjects didn't bother with it. No wonder you have so many exams!
Ouch... There's one guy in my school doing seven...SEVEN courses!!!!
As for me, I have Media studies (yay!) Religious Studies (Yay!) English language (bleurgh!) and Psychology (kill me now!) exams coming up. I need just one "D" grade to get into my university course (games design and development!)
Lol I feel so uneducated. I'm doing a Diploma in Music Preformance and Music Technology so thankfully no mocks or exams. Just started working on our end of term assignment though which is a recorded set and I have writers block. :( Haven't even come up with a main idea yet.
I do 7 subjects in my school, Dutch(Higher Degree), English(Higher Degree), French(Higher Degree), Math(Higher Degree), Physics+Chemistry(Higher Degree), Biology(Higher Degree), and Art(Also higher degree :P)
So yes, all high levels for me :P Fun fun fun xD Arrah, everyone's making a huge fuss of exams though, I mean gosh whats the problem? xD You know whats coming up, just make what you learn interesting, then learning and revising is no problem :P
I must admit, I'm terrible at revision. Its all so daunting... just learning stuff from the books and all that...
I'm good at English though, I'm writing a story which is great but also educates as to the features of spoken english, which is one of the exams I'm taking.
Anyone got any other ideas how to make revision fun?!?!
Anyone got any other ideas how to make revision fun?!?!
Well for maths all you have to do is line people up, think for say a subtraction you kill "X" people and work out how many are left. Simple and fun, eh. :P
But seriously, what I did was studied with friends, we all were doing the same thing so it worked. Granted we did mess around for a bit, but we also worked reasonably hard. In the end I did study a fair bit, compared to if I had tried at home I would have surely given up after about five minutes.
I have just done my collage exam yesterday, which was terrible. I doubt I passed it, seeing as it was a case of the questions were all on the parts I didn‘t get time to study. Drinking Red Bull to drown my sorrows, not (it's just tasty).

I have 17 exams over the next month or twoWtf, 17 exams ?! I really wish you good luck with them.
Had exams like 4 years back. Now I'm doing higher education and I have tests every trimester. Still I have a lot of free time, like now. Monday is my first schoolday in the 2nd period. I had no school for 3 weeks...
i do 6 subjects. well, 5 real ones and general studies. the real ones are french, spanish, german, maths and business studies, and i have exams soon too. ever get that feeling when you really should revise, but you just dont want to, and you're trying to justify yourself? anywho, i will be revising by making posters and flashcards, because they look pretty.
i have about... 7 exams...
should revise
will do later
or maybe now
must clear all distractions
but people are talkling to me
rude not to talk back
aah morals!
I'm doing... 3 AS Physics exams, 3 AS biology exams, 2 AS chemistry exams... and 3 Computing exams... so 11 overall...
General Studies is some kind of scam... It brings back all the subjects you give up! :(
I need AAA to get into the veterinary sciences course, but only CCC to do veterinary nursing... it's a strange world we live in, as sometimes the nurses seem to know more than the vets... though it's not usually about operating and stuff! XD

I never did any work in my General Studies lessons, I'm madly reading over the BBC website for interesting articles to memorize rofl. I found some on UFO's and the new PS3 - I think somehow it might find it's way into my technology domain exam. xD

Fomp exam on Friday.. really dreading that one.
Foundations of Mathematical Physics. It's the hardest and most demotivating thing I've ever come across. The pass rate is < 30%, and I know some damn smart people who have had to take it four times to pass... and a pass is only 40%! So yeah, really not looking forward to this Friday!
well lets see...in the eigth grade you get a reading test which I probably zero aced ( dirty perfect ) math test which I studied for two-three weeks and did okay juss because I didn't read the damn problem.Science which I did good on and studied for one week and the last exam is coming up in june, american history which ain't gonna be all that because ain't nothing much to american history.

Oh gawd, that sounds pretty nasty. My school is pilot testing an extra exam in chemistry rather then coursework, it's an exam on practical methods for experiments and analytical methods etc. We're allowed to take files into the exam with us - sounds easy, lol we did the mock for it last week and finished marking it today (there's only one mock paper around since it was only introduced this year) and the average mark for the chem. classes was around 50% >___< It's not half as easy as it seems. I managed to score 68%. It's my second exam on next friday - not looking forward to that!
Study leave starts on Friday O:
I remember my exams, I never really stuck with one thing, I wasn't really a sciency guy I wasnt really an artsy guy, I did a little ofo everything
English, Maths, Craft & Design, Art & Design, Computing, French, Geography, Physical Education, Physics
I didn't know what I wanted to be or do so I just tried as much as i could and the only thing that really grabbed me was computers because they were so easy.
I can't give any revision advice because I've never revised in my life :/
Well ive got to revise for all my subjects (english lit and lang and chemistry) but all im revising is chemistry so knowing my luck ill screw up the english. But i need to pass chemistry in order to be let back to finish my A levels .... the pressure is on a hell of a lot..... Ghey!
I also have AS Exams now. Mine are Psychology, Computing, Maths, Further Maths and FOAM of which I've done two Maths papers and one Psych. I have another two Psych exams tomorrow afternoon, the last two Psych papers.
Basically, I completely sympathise with all those doing theirs now and sincerely wish them the best of luck.
