So here's the new comp Ill be using in about a weeks time:
Motherboard: DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert, FW, nForce4 SLI, Socket-939, GbLAN, PCI-Ex16
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 2.2GHz Socket 939 2MB
GPU: Asus GeForce 7900GTX 512MB GDDR3, HDTV, PCI-Express, Tv-Out/2xDVI-I, 650/1600MHz
RAM: 2x Corsair TWINX2048-3200C2 DDR-DIMM 2048MB Kit w/two matched CMX1024-3200C2 DIMMs
Originally didn't plan on swapping the mobo and cpu, but when I tried to put in the new PSU myself, it cut a small cable for the cpu cooler which fried the cpu and damaged the mobo XD
Whats good about that cpu is that it has 1 mb of L2 cache per core (its dual core), which is a major improvement from my old 3.2GHz P4 since it only had 1MB and one core.
This will set me back a nice $2k so it better ****ing well last.
Edit: Replaced the RAM as well, as I don't know if I will buy this set after all. Would need to replace the ram because old ram isn't compatible. That would bring me up to 4GB ram which is nice.
