Halo 3 Anounced + Teaser Trailer

Yeah, you heard me properly. Bungie decided to spill a little information about Halo 3, which is now underworks for XBOX 360 =P Bungie released a teaser-trailer, and some info about the trailer, clues about the game as such. Info can be seen here:

So, opinions anyone? IMO it looks pretty darn good... I see in the trailer they brought back an old Halo 1 weapon, the M5A Assault Rifle or something =P IMO, I am so glad they did, this can help bring back some of the Halo 1 feeling that you could have had while playing Halo 1... Well, I'm glad anyway, Halo 1 > Halo 2 by miles IMO :P I wonder what happened to cortana though, after all she is being held with that Gravemind Flood guy, sounds interesting :P

I hope it does bring back some of that Halo 1 feel.. I could never get into the second as much as I could the first. Maybe because my xbox decided to break at the same time, so I didn't really get as much a chance to play it.

Not sure if it'll be worth getting a '360 for though, they're still too much money for a poor student like me!

Yeah it looks awesome. I mean far out, I can't wait to see how the gameplay graphics and that would like. So much detail and everything (lol) and yeah I also read an article about this on Gamespot, but never got around to looking for the H3 trailer. And if I was correct, the Arbiter and Master Chief are allied are they not? I'll also assume that the Arbiter isn't part of the Covenant anymore is he?

Is the Gravemind Flood guy that big dude with tentacles and in Halo 2 you seem him and he's holding the Arbiter, Master Chief, one of the Prophects and one of the Oracle things and they're all talking and he's the one that sends Master Chief and the Arbiter out?

Yeah, he's also in the end where you have Cortana and himself, which leaves me to question... is the Flood now able to learn about earth and everything now, since in Halo 1, they said if they got Cortana(They being the covenant), they would learn about everything, in which they also included earth I remember... just a theory, not sure if Im right at all :P


EDIT:Also, anyone that seen the trailer, you guys noticed the stop sign? it has a wee grunt on it xD

RE-EDIT: I also noticed, another theory or somewhat... right before we get Cortana's more clear picture somewhat, when everything is still fady when she is appearing, I see very shortly an image of one of those Covenant leaders... you know? o.o

Yeah, but the Flood intelligence(Gravemind) obviously has full knowledge about the Halo, much more than the Covenant do, it seems o-O And no he didnt send them to save the world, he wanted them to stop the activation of Halo, which in turn doesn't kill his race, the Flood :P Which also saves the world, but yeah =P
As for the Arbiter and his elites could still be part of the Covenant, remember that all of the covenant forces went to stop the Brutes, but since they(They being the arbiter and his elites) stopped activation of the ring, they could be expelled from the Covenant forces, which is a good theory but... I doubt if its true or not :P
And I remember it because I played+Finished that game like 4 times and over xD It owns Halo 2 if you ask me, hence I remember xD
And yeah, I more or less see those Covenant leaders, pretty sure I do... I could be horrifically wrong but...I remember people on the actual Halo 3 Forum said thesame thing o-O

Oh yeah Auron, there wont be a Halo 4, Bungie said so themselves:

(And obviously Elder Scrolls V lol) =D Then I can bring those into those endless arguements we silly people have about the next-gen consoles and then someone comes in and say "who cares [insert long explanation and stuff here]" or like "we'll we can't know for sure, we'll just have to wait for them to be released" or something XD. And I was only joking about the Halo 4 (but they could of been! Since I didn't know if Halo 3 was going to be the last or not).

Yeah they screwd up on Halo 2 big time, but it was still a fun game and whatnot but they gave us something totally different to the demo provided in E3 (I think it was 2003 or 2004). And Tsugay, you do know that the Brutes were part of the covenant and took over the position of the Elites? So they probably all left and joined the Arbiter or something, who in turn is currently allied with Master Chief (for now =O).

And where was the Halo (that they deactivaed) aimed at? I forget what it's target was? And where's the Flood currently lie? As in, what planet? On Earth? Like did the Covenant aim the Halo ring at the Flood's homeplanet (do they have one? O.o) or something? Halo 3 is for XBOX 360, dude :P Thats enough reason to buy Xbox360 xD Rofl :P
And I thought the brutes were a different race than the Covenant...guess I'm wrong =P As for that allied thing with Master Chief, good statement, I missed that actually xD

And it doesnt matter where the Halo is aimed at, its strong enough to destroy a huge radius around itself, so doesnt matter really :P Earth, some other planet, whatever, its all thesame to the Halo >=P
As for the Flood, they're everywhere man. Everywhere xD

Wrong Tsuji all the flood are trapped in Halo's but they can escape as seen near end of Halo 2 and also the Covanent (sp?) is split right now it the brutes, drones, and jakales (sp?) vs elites, grunts, and the hunters cause there is split in them but elites will join with humans to save whole universe cause the prophet is going to earth to activate all the Halo's at once to destroy all life in universe but he is to stupid to figure that out.

But the current Prophet (well isn't there only one alive? Or two?) seems like the smarter one of them, mainly the way he talks and well the way he acted during Halo 2 (well what he did, says, etc) lol. And the Covenant is just an alliance of different alien races, always has been lol. However, I still saw some Elites fighting for the Convenant, like during Halo 2 - when you played as the Arbiter and whatnot. Sometimes you would fight other Elites and Grunts (and Flood, so annoying), but they had this other armour that made them different from the Arbiter and his Elites. And are drones those annoying flying things? I forget >< And yeah it's spelt as Jackals, they're with Conveant and Hunters I think are mostly with the Arbiter.

Oh okay, so liek even if your just aiming at Earth, it'll probably destroy the whole galaxy Earth is in or something? lol. And well like you said the Flood is everywhere, so how would it wipe out the Flood? lol I like asking questions, but i'm sure Tsugay is getting annoyed =P And well yeah, Brutes joined the Convenant between Halo and Halo 2, kind of replacing Elites since they were like stronger and the Elites failed the Prophets several times.

No cause the weapon was designed to destroy everything that could support the flood I want to know why the Guilty Sparks keep calling the master chief the reclaimer and also why the Covenant think Halo will bring them the power they so badly want and also why gravemind is helping the side that could just as easily kill him also why would the covanent follow the prophet so blindly and to answer your question Auron those covanent were using archaic armor and were weakly armored but still had bunch of flood to help them.
