Today Square Enix has opened their official website to the game: Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus. Don't expect much, it's just a flash teaser that tells that the website is coming soon.

Some news some of you may like. In the US release DOC won't be online, it will also have more features than the japanese version.
DIRGE of CERBERUS -Final Fantasy VII- is heading to our shores pretty soon, but not before a little bit of fine tuning and tweaking takes place.
Square-Enix didn’t let the harsh criticism of the title slip by, taking the advice of gamers and reviewers alike and changing many key problems in the game. Vincent will be much faster in the US release, and will aim much quicker as well. His dive roll technique has also been replaced with a Quick Dash, featuring a speedier recovery time.
The major change to the gameplay of FFVII:DC is Vincent’s ability to battle in midair, as he can now fire-off melee and firearm combos while airborne, a technique missing from the JP version. The game will also feature Mouse and Keyboard support for those who despise the Dual Shock for their FPS mayhem.
We’re also getting a more difficult version of the game, as the Easy Mode has been killed off in favor of Normal, Hard, and Extra Hard modes. Extra Hard will feature 40 new missions, which have to be unlocked, and will in turn unlock special features for the player (Think galleries, extra goodies, and all that neat stuff).
The only bad news is that we’re losing the Online Feature of DIRGE of CERBERUS, with Square-Enix citing poor sales of the PS2 HDD and minimal usage of their own PlayOnline service on our shores as the reason. The Online Missions found in the JP Version will appear in the 40 Extra Hard missions in the US version.
And lastly, the part I really cared the most about: Gackt will not be cutout of the final version of the game. His special appearance and in-game themes, 「REDEMPTION」 & 「LONGING」 will both remain intact for the US release.
DIRGE of CERBERUS -Final Fantasy VII- will release on August 22nd.
