There still no European release date given by Square Enix, but they announced it will be released in Autumn 2006. That's of course better than late 2006 what I saw first when I bought Dragon Quest VIII.
I'm really looking forward to the game.

Wow it's looks really good. I live in a PAL territory so I haven't played it either. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
I hate it when they make you wait for games like this. I live in England and all I've heard is to expect it "around mid September". The last game I waited for kept getting put back until it was two years late! Thank god I was patient is all I can say.
It did however turn out to be near kids early morning cartoon trash.

I hate it too. Square doesn't really care about we Europeans. They won't release Grandia III here, which is a BIG disappointment. And the remake of Final Fantasy IV on the GBA isn't even released here yet.

Yes, it is a shame that good quality RPG games like Grandia III will probably never reach european shores. It is unfair on us gamers that are keen on trying out every game they see. And even if they do reach us, we have to wait much longer than America. Oh well, im just glad KH2 is finally coming soon. I was starting to think it would never get here.

I loved Kingdom Hearts 1, and I've been looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 2 for 2 years...Lol. I personally can't wait for it to come out, Kingdom Hearts is my favourite game eva eva eva! *Hugs Sora*

Bah, I got too impatient and so I've bought KH2 off one of my friends who imported it. Let me just say that, it's a great game. You will not be disappointed if you liked the first KH.
III KNOW!!!... I'm so annoyed that it's not here yet... I mean is it that hard to convert the format of a game!?!I believe they have to recode parts of the graphics display engine, seeing as NTSC TVs have a different framerate or smth than Euro TVs.
I just hope that one day they will set one worldwide standard, putting an end to this bullshit...
Oh and just to not get tagged: Im also excited about the game, almost forgotten about KH1 tho =P

Well, you have to see that they have to make the translations to the European languages.And we had the benefit in FFX to have the Dark Aeons.
But still, I think they don't take that long to translate a game.That's a bit strange...

The current KH2 release date is September 21st as said by Gamespot, It could change knowing Square-enix though. Their real slow at making European versions.

Yeah, I heard it was going to be in Autumn 2006. It would be better if they gave a date and with a month. But a season is good so far after almost two or more years of waiting for this game. Can't wait to play it!
About time they set the release date, I've been waiting for aaaaages.
A few more months, finally ^^

i think square enix nakes us waitv too long for the next game release and its annoying i cant wait until kingdom hearts 2 come out
ditto earlier in 04 i red it would come out in march 05 so when that passed i got annoyed >=( but sooner rather than later

Kingdom Hearts II will be released in Europe on September 29!
Only the French people get the game a day earlier.
Really looking forward to the game now. Square really took a long time on getting the game ready for Europe...

man i am so excited to play the game im actually playing KH1 to get back into the swing.As ive heard there will be roughly around 3 hours of in game tutorials which kinda explains that there will be a lot of differences from KH1 and KH2.

i think there is a dutch translation as well, like many games do have a dutch translation.
19 days or if your in france 18 days.

Nah, no Dutch translation. I'm 100% certain about that. Mostly kiddy games and sport games get translated in Dutch. Maybe the manual will be translated, but that's all.
Don't like games in Dutch, same thing for cartoons.

Don't trust that or other webshops that say that. Only France will get it on the 28th, the rest of Europe on the 29th.
The official European website seems to be down. Well it's displaying a mail server login now... :rolleyes:

The game looks so great i cant wait to play it i competed KH like a long time ago so i did have a long wait for the official release of KH2 and im happy it is nearly out :)

12 days till release and i have got some news IGN gave KH2 a 7.6 Rating which is a good average mark a lot of members of IGN have argued about the rating which i would have too. :) 12 days :)

I'm trying to finish Kingdom Hearts now on expert mode with getting every side quest (like all the items available at the Synthesis Shop, postcards) and all equipment. I'm at level 100 already with 99,999 munney. :p

5 days till kh2 release im on expert mode but the malificent dragon always pummels me... :(
I assure you guys - it's a great game. I saw my cousin playing it and I may go out and buy it soon. Living in NA has its kicks I suppose. ^^
I hope all European posters enjoy KH2. It's tons of fun and is worth the wait.
I'll prepare for a lull in forum conversation until at least Monday.

i hope the European posters enjoy KH2 because i really did the battle scene is so much better and yet a small diffrent. The storyline yet catchy as always cut scenes are great and the ending is great its a long cutscene ending GREAT! BUt yea you will enjoy it no doubt.

Tomorrow is the BIG day! I will get Kingdom Hearts II right after school. Luckely I don't have much lessons (only English) on Friday, so I can play KH2 a lot. :P
I read that some stores already have the game, but I don't care. Been rather busy with school the last days.
