Things we cannot percept...
these include:
Can you think of any other form of physical state? Such as Solid, Liquid, Gas... try to think of another... and don't say jelly lol!
Can you think of another tone or colour that you have not seen... it's utterly impossible!
The 5 senses are touch, smell, taste, sight, and hear then there is the psychic 6th sense which really doesn't count... think of another...
Sounds... are there any others... more than the ones we can produce in the physical world?
Tastes... Is our tasting sense limited? are there any more?
Touch... Is this limited?
Can you remember before you were born... You allways have this feeling that you were allways here but you see befor you were here you were dead... so since you have experienced death allready should you be scared... or is it your memory that is playing tricks on you?
Does time pause? think about games... you can pause them for as long as you like and ou wouldn't know... SEE! Right then the time may have paused for 100000 years!
These questions prove that there is alot more than whats in this universe... things we will only know at the end of our lives...

a) it's spelled 'perceive'
Can you think of any other form of physical state? Such as Solid, Liquid, Gas... try to think of another... and don't say jelly lol!
The closest thing there is to another state would be the solid/liquid hybrid of glass (glass molecules travel down a pane according to gravity, leading to an eventual thickening at the base of your windows.)
Let's not also forget plasma, which is considered a distinct phase of matter
Can you think of another tone or colour that you have not seen... it's utterly impossible!
There's a vast number of colours I've not seen. We don't have individual names for them, but there's a huge quantity of tones and shades.
The 5 senses are touch, smell, taste, sight, and hear then there is the psychic 6th sense which really doesn't count... think of another...
You have more than 6 senses.
You have at least 4 visual senses, something like 6 senses of touch, 4 or 5 senses of taste, and so on. They class as different senses because they use different receptors (e.g. the cells in your eye that deal with red light are different from the ones that deal with green, or those that work in black and white). You also have a sense of balance, a 'sense' of direction, and some people argue for a 'sense' of intuition.
Sounds... are there any others... more than the ones we can produce in the physical world?
There's a massive number of frequencies which could be produced. But the human ear is limited to frequencies between 20Hz and 20kHz, so we'd be unable to perceive them.
Tastes... Is our tasting sense limited? are there any more?
Any more what?
Touch... Is this limited?
Everything has to be limited. Your various touch senses can recognise tiny stimuli, such as a very small movement or a small change in temperature. Any more and it'd be stupid - imagine being able to feel every fibre in your clothes. You'd not want to wear them, because it would be so uncomfortable. If you could feel every dust particle every time you walked, it would be unbearable.
Can you remember before you were born... You allways have this feeling that you were allways here but you see befor you were here you were dead... so since you have experienced death allready should you be scared... or is it your memory that is playing tricks on you?
I think that's just you. But I'll debunk this one anyway. You can't remember before you were born because your brain wasn't fully developed and is incapable of actually making the physical changes that produce memories.
Does time pause?
Yes. Theoretically, it does.
It's been proven on experiments with planes and atomic clocks that as you travel faster, time applies to you less. It's a principle known as 'time dilation', and it suggests that as you approach the speed of light, time tends to zero. This means that if you hit the speed of light (something that's generally considered impossible) then time would be zero and you'd be unaffected by it.
Right then the time may have paused for 100000 years!
Since time is continuous and linear, and in fact just another dimension of movement, saying 'time may have paused for 100000 years!' is the same as saying 'Left may have stopped existing for 5 miles!'. In addition, if time WERE to stop, there'd be no way of measuring how long it stopped FOR, unless it stopped in only one place and there was an external observer.
These questions prove that there is alot more than whats in this universe... things we will only know at the end of our lives...
To be honest, these questions only prove that you have little knowledge of degree-level biology or physics - or even A-level or GCSE level (that's stuff you should know by the age of 15 :P) - they're all questions that have already been answered.
gotta love that there plasma for the solid/liquid/gas one
that was chris' suggestion to the above post hehe
www.dictionary.com can help sometimes
yay... a person who can answer the questions... Or are they excuses... there are some I agree with now. But the one about colour... New colour is created through fusing one colour with another colour or fusing one colour with another tone... is there any more colours than that?.
Also I knew that you wouldn't remember anything because your brain would not have been there to store them...
You see... you did not provide me with answers... just more questions.... Everything you answered I allready knew.
You also took the question way too seriously... it was in-general questions lol like the 6 senses one... you sub cater'd em'... Don't try to be a know it all... Though... I find it funny how you said degree level lol... Theres no way I'm old enough for that....
still even if we discover more of these things... there will be more and it will never end.
Wow... emotion switch... you really made me impressed but in an odd way. It's kinda an angry impression with a nice feel to it...
Oh yeah, and it's said "spelt" not
spelled"
"Don't try to be a know it all"

Or are they excuses...
No, you asked for answers, and I provided you with definite answers with scientific backing.
Also I knew that you wouldn't remember anything because your brain would not have been there to store them...
Then why ask?
New colour is created through fusing one colour with another colour or fusing one colour with another tone... is there any more colours than that?.
Colour is caused by specific reflections of certain wavelengths of light. While there are a lot of wavelengths that I've not come across myself, there's a finite amount that can exist before we move on into other types of electromagnetic radiation.
You see... you did not provide me with answers... just more questions.... Everything you answered I allready knew.
I provided you with concrete answers to your questions. And if you already knew, why bother asking?
You also took the question way too seriously... it was in-general questions lol like the 6 senses one... you sub cater'd em'
At the level of biology which I'm at (degree level) it's pretty accepted that you have somewhere in the vicinity of 20 or more senses.
Don't try to be a know it all...
Don't ask questions if you don't want answers.
still even if we discover more of these things... there will be more and it will never end.
Logically there can only be a finite amount of knowledge to be learned in the universe.
lol I have practiced that... I just want to know more not know it all.
And please it's in-general I'm sure that all of the senses would class under the 6 I said. So could you just tell me if you HAVE thought about another colour that you haven't seen? Instead of telling me about how things are done and what we do know.
teeechnically, we haven't seen infrared or ultraviolet

*sighs*
Regarding colours:
Of course I've thought about them. I've been sat here telling you that there are some, and I wouldn't be able to do that without having thought about them.
Regarding senses:
Not all of the senses would class under the 6 you said. For a start, 'psychic' isn't a sense and to be honest is highly dubious. Balance is a separate sense from any of the others, since it uses a completely different organ to detect a completely different stimulus - in this case, the organ is the semi-circular canals, of which you have two, one by each ear. The stimulus is the effect of gravity on the fluid within, which provides you with information about your orientation with regards to the force of gravity.
well they're still thing we know about, Correct? Anyway... I didn't realise this would be a major debate... It was meant to be a "Wow no I cannot think of that even with a machine" type questionare. Oh and thanks for providing straight forward answers, oh yeah and the psychic thing... I said it didn't count because I highly doubt it.

I didn't realise this would be a major debate... It was meant to be a "Wow no I cannot think of that even with a machine" type questionare.
Then your questions were poorly chosen, since they're all fairly easily answered.
well they're still thing we know about, Correct?
If you're still talking about colours, we know that there's a range of frequencies of light that we can perceive as colour, and that's all we'll ever be able to actually see with our eyes, so there's a finite number of colours and tones (i.e. everything between the frequencies of 700nm and 400nm)
theyre not completely answered... but I'm glad that they were answered how I wanted them to... so... we will never see another colour?... Is it possible that new technology could make it possible in the future for us to do so?

We won't see any new ones suddenly appear. You might see colours and tones that you've not come across before, but they've always existed and they're all represented in the spectrum:

As for being able to see other colours, we'd have to completely change the structure of our eyes or grow new sensory organs before we could perceive other wavelengths of light.
*note* Above image doesn't take into account lightening or darkening - but if you want to see a full range of colours, use a program like photoshop and have a look
I understand that... If I were to see another colour... I'd probably go insane! lol
Logically there can only be a finite amount of knowledge to be learned in the universe.True, I believe. There will always be one more "why" than there will be answers.

True, I believe. There will always be one more "why" than there will be answers.
I think you misunderstand me.
I think there's only a finite amount of stuff that can be known - I believe that there will be a last question, and it will have an answer.
The universe is theoretically infinite, but unless it's irrational and illogical, everything has to follow the same basic set of rules. Any set of rules has to be finite, or it's illogical, because an infinite set of rules will contain contradictions to every rule. Because gravity is in effect everywhere, it's therefore a fair assumption that the universe follows a logical, and therefore finite, set of rules.
@Chris, remember where your posting this is mature discussions. Roxas's comment wasn't in anyway towards you it was towards Tharrick so saying "practice what you preach" was uncalled for, Tharrick is old enough to defend himself if he is being insulted.
@Roxas:
Can you remember before you were born... You allways have this feeling that you were allways here but you see befor you were here you were dead... so since you have experienced death allready should you be scared... or is it your memory that is playing tricks on you?
Well, someone from a religion that believed in being reborn would tell you, you had memories of your past life.
Colours? yeah i'll just agree with Tharrick on that one, you have the primary colours, they will never change, the only thing that will change is the tone/shade they can make.
I can see, where you tried to get this thread at, but it felt more like a quiz than anything else, you should of found questions that dont have an actual answer only opinions.

Can you think of any other form of physical state? Such as Solid, Liquid, Gas... try to think of another... and don't say jelly lol!
The obvious one, Plasma, has already been stated, but there are another few which jump into my mind.
Rose-Einstein Condensate.
Take a group of atoms. Use a combination of cooling techniques, confinement, and positioning in order to get them close together. Allow quantum processes to take over.
The atoms actually start to exist in the same position in space, becoming superimposed atop one another, creating a super-atom, if you will. There's not really much point to them, but it is recognised as another state of matter in certain circles.
Superfluids.
Take a sample of Helium-4. Cool it down to within a few Kelvin of absolute zero. Allow similar quantum processes as in the REC to occur.
The liquid helium's viscosity suddenly becomes zero. That's right. Zero. This means that it has no friction whatsoever, and can flow endlessly against a substance with friction. Similarly, supersolids and supergases with zero viscosity are also available.
It seems I missed the debate by a day. Sucks, too, I would have had a lot to say! :P
I should have stated plasma doesn't count either but... the superfluids sounded kool though it's still a form of fluid.

Plasmas don't count because.. they're too obvious and we can percieve them?
*shrugs*
Yeah, superfluids are cool. They are only kind of a form of liquid (note: liquids and fluids are two completely different things) because one of the criteria of being a liquid is that the liquid must take the form of the container it is placed in, but superfluids tend to have a row of atoms running up the side of the containers. They also have wierd and wonderful properties which liquids can't dream of having, such as exactly reflecting magnetic fields.
