This is Elle, i still need to practice with hands and feet because i am not good at drawing those parts of the body but i'll like to see what you think of her.

Her name is Soceress Cecelia, i found a picture of Edea from Final Fantasy 8 and decided to draw someone in the same pose so here she is http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j183/one-winged-death-angel/SorceressCecelia222.jpg

First off, don't doublepost to bump up your thread. Think about it, perhaps people haven't looked at it yet or feel the need to comment on it. Just because people don't reply it doesn't mean they don't like it... Also, use the edit button to put in another image rather than posting again XD

Anyways, Onto the image in question! :D
AS you said, the hands and feet need some work, as does the hair, which is a bit messy if i'm going to be nice about it. It seems you've done one design and then immediately gone over the top with another, without removing the old one. It also covers most of her eyes and nose, which is where you get the most expression from a character, so that isn't great.
She seems very splayed out, in a star shape for some reason, she needs more posture, and a bit of body language wouldn't go a miss either.
A little lighting wouldn't go a miss either, the character seems very flat and lifeless, especially her face, clothes, and legs. You've relied to heavily of smudging for "effect". Yes this can look good in moderation, but you've overdone it a bit. Everything apart from the person is smudged, which really does make it look messy. Try hatching and cross hatching next time, it'll give you much better results. The cracks in the wall that she appears to be stood on need more depth, rather than just being dark grey lines
Also, get your hands on as many grades of pencil, preferably ranging from 6B, for real dark areas, to 6H, for very light details. Also, buy a putty rubber, which are excellent for removing lines and details.

Other than that, it's an okay piece of work, but could do with dome improvements, keep it up and you should get better. Basically practice hands, feet, hair and poses.
Getting books and guides on the styles of drawing that you like also help greatly.

The second image is a lot better but looks very sketchy. I see you've added in shading, which gives it depth, but a bit more is required. The hair is much better designed too. Other than that, keep at it and you'll improve!

hatching is where you draw many lines (usually diagonally) next to each other, to give shaded effect, and cross hatching is where you do lines in two directions so they lay over each other... It basically gives a better look than usual hatching

Nice artwork, I agree with what was said before. Also for some practice, try looking (not tracing) Off other pictures. You don't have to show them off or anything, but it's a cheap and easy way to learn how to draw.
