Falling without sound;
The flower scatters, petals
Drifting on the wind

This is another one that actually needs some explanation -

Another haiku inspired by poetry in the art of swordplay. The Shinkage-ryu's written teachings contain the poem:
'A flower, scattering, falls without sound on the moss.
A flower, scattering, can be heard in the depths of this mountain'

It describes the moment of utter stillness that serious martial artists strive for, where they could hear a single flower fall on moss. To attain such a state means that the Way to mastery is one step shorter.

I like the references your poetry makes to poetry of the past; and the metaphors used to create empty but full images... it's hard to explain. lol

Your haikus leave the reader open to imagination, but also send your message across in a way that leaves it up to the reader to think about. Nice piece of work. :)
