As you know Advent Children is set 2 years after the events of the original Final Fantasy VII for the PS1, and Dirge of Cerberus is set 3 years after the events so what do you think is next or do you think Square have done enough with the game now and shouldnt carry on..

Good question. I think Square should just stop making all these frigging games and leave it alone already...
i think square enix is doing a great job working on the original game and setting it 3 years after the first version was out it makes the game interesting and i admire square enix for doing that

I hate to say it but this game has had enough follow-up games to it, so far there are:
Crisis Core (Anime)
Before Crisis (Phone game)
Dirge of Cerberus (PS2)
Advent Children (DVD)
An FF7 remake (Which has been denied by Square, although, it'll probably happen.)
I really think they should focus on other things instead of wasting time on FF7.
I'd really like for Square to work on the GBA remakes of FF5-6.
The first FF7 on PS1 will be similar to the PS3 game, with better graphics, more side quests and stuff (maybe), and, uh, that's all.

sorry to burst the bubble but i dont think they are making an updated version of ff7 on ps3 the video you saw was just an experiment by square enix themselves if you dont belive me read what IGN has to say about it they say exactly the same.
They've done a good job, but I think its really time for them to stop with the game already.
