simularities between ff12 and ff tactics

hey is it just me or is ff tactics set in ivalice aswell as ff12 in that case is it kinda like the same game?

plz correct me or explain to me im confused

It's not the same game [obviously] the characters are different, battles are different, story will be different. It's just based in Ivalice, there maybe some similarities between the two but they are both going to be different.

Yeah, and I dont think every location from Tactics(and Tactics Advance) are in Final Fantasy XII but there will be some but as Vixene said, there not the same characters, story or anything.

final fantasy X11 is bound to be different to final fantasy tactics maybe they do have a little bit of simularites but the main storyline and game is different

Yeah, and the similarities are fun to find, especially if you're familiar with Tactics. Like Viera and Bangaa and stuff, obviously. Giza Plains, as well. Also, in Tactics, it's St. Ivalice. FF12 is just Ivalice.

Yeah. It's always amusing to see similarities from the two games. Seeing that they almost share the same world they call Ivalice, some people might say one of these games is a spin-off of some sort.
