View Full Version : The Guitarist and bass and drums club
Yeah well since we lost all trace of the old 'guitarists' club when the old forums died a horrible death, I thought I would restart this club with a more appropriate name this time!
just call it the musician's club! :p

Keep a space for me warm.
I'll learn soon. XD

Yeah, i'm still learning, haven't learnt to strum a chord yet, though, only been learning for 5 - 7 months, xD. Still learning pieces where you "pluck" xP.

And I've been playing guitar on and off...

You don't really need a tutor. They just help out fill those little tiny gaps.
Yeah I'll join.
WHOA!!!
I find it hard to believe that no one has posted here since my last post.
so that means you're davidonsnake as well which technically means you're double posting. Well ill let you off without the warning for this little loophole but do it again and you'll get a spam/double post warning lol :P
Well yeah I'm davidonsnake. And it could be considered double posting I guess,I just didn't think so because I was under a different name.No matter,my folly. Thanks for the help buddy.
OOhhh, I want in! I've been taking guitar/bass lessons for a few months now, and I love it! I'm working on learning as many death from above songs I can on my bass :P
Yeah while I am trying to make through life with an untuned, five string acoustic.
*GHHAAASSSSPPPP!!!!
untuned? you should be slapped! Haha, just kidding, that's more or less how I started as well.
Well,I borrowed my friend's portable Korg and it was acting up just too much.I'd tune the string perfect and then it would say otherwise but it was handy when it functioned accordingly. But I got this thing with my guitar pack,it's not really a blow pipe but you do get to blow into and it makes a sound.I tuned my guitar to that and it sounds pretty good.So if there is any slapping to be done, than it should because I only have five strings on my guitar which I am somewhat proud of.I figure "whats the sixth string for, playing a solo?" although it defies everything that the instrument was based on,I'm actually doing pretty good. You?
Quite good indeed. My Bass is a four string, and my attitude is similar. Who needs a fifthe string? Strings are overrated, lol
Yes very true.So I am now going to totally going to screw the E string and learn the most basic chord without that particular string <attitude> cuz if i want to play a solo,i will get an electric.Watch my genius unfold </attitude>
does anyone know how to play the solo to the song Psycho by System Of A Down.It is pretty easyand can be played on an acoustic but it's just so melodic that it hard to listen to it and know how it is played.
