The Anime Club

This is just an idea I got from school. We've got a "Japanese Animation Society" but we all know it as the anime club. We watch anime, read manga and play video games. What we do here is discuss and rate anime/manga in general and post links to good AMVs as well as sites that you can download, watch and/or read anime and manga. You can also discuss and rate anime-based video games (ie Dragonball Z Budokai)

naruto is the best the show is awesome i also like bleach and avatar they are the seconfd and third best after naruto
budaki is also cool but i perfer a game with a story and wich you can move around like ff or kh

Naruto is pretty good, though its getting to feel like Dragonball Z these days, especially since both were, and still are, being butchered by Toonami. Bleach I have yet to really watch and Avatar is VERY good and original, especially for being an American anime.

But there are still many other good animes you may have never heard of or just not seen too much. Trigun is hilarious and Ghost in the Shell is a great one too (Both were once on Adult Swim. I think GitS still is). But what about shows that come on pulic television, like Excel Saga, Hellsing and Desert Punk? Those shows are awesome!

And really, I'm not a big fan of anime-based video games myself. I like Budokai 3 and thats about it (I didn't get into anything beyond it because they totally messed up the controls for me). I just threw it out there for others to discuss :P

Oh yeah, Trinity Blood's good. I've only seen one episode, but it was still awesome. Ranma is also awesome, though my parents would probably raise their eyebrows a lil to the story :P

Also, forgot to mention my favorite manga: Midori Days. Anyone here ever read that?

haha yeah Ranma is a little.......strange? I had a thought provoking question.....could you say Ranma was hot? or would you be slightly.....not straight if you did that?

if you're talking strictly girl ranma then yes you could say that.

If you're just talking about Ranma period...yeh, that could be a lil weird :P

um. I have been reading the Bleach Mangas, and let me tell you, I like them better than I do the anime. Even though its in black and white....i know most mangas are. If it was in color, then I would say that it would be my favorite Manga.

I've been reading Negima! Magister Negi Magi for almost 1 year and I succesfully completed it. But now I'm reading Fushigi Yugi and Suzuka!

I also completed all the volumes of Love Hina!

I started watching Negima cuz they've just recently put it up on demand here (for free, of course) and on my Blockbuster Online queue I've got Azumanga Daioh, Outlaw Star, Ghost in the Shell and Desert Punk.

Just finished reading the Deathnote manga, woot! xD

Desert Punk is a hilarious Anime. Has anyone here seen anything from Hellsing Ultimate it is so much better then the 13 episode series. Right now BLEACH has to my my top Anime, although they butcher it with filler, but you get that with any anime unless they just don't follow the Manga or follow it but decide not to wait for more material to come out like Inuyasha. The worse thing about Anime in my opinion is the price tag, crack is cheaper what the hell is up with that!
