Has anyone ever bothered to try to complete the game i under 12 hours if you have did you recive the excalibur II

ive got the excalibur but man im tryin so hard to get the excalibur 2 it is meant to have 108 attack power so its easily more powerful than the ultima weapon.

tried for it never sucseeded(got bored a few hour few and just played normaly) i know someone who CLAIMS he got it though i dont really believe him(didn't explain it very well), apparently you have to do stuff like open and close the disc PS console to skip the FMV's or something as they add to your time, although im not totaly sure about that. either way very hard

Yep, I did that like most of the time because the movies will sometimes get stuck (CD or PS1 problem?) and that pissed me so much :mad:

But going to Ipsen Castle in 12 hours is like you have to NOT do anything else, skipping the text messages (as in keep pressing X during conversations), turning battle and text speed to fast, and NOT concentrating on Treasure Boxes or buying stuff. This is totally hard. It is too risky and you can get lots of stress doing this. I recommend you not to do this though.

Its Easy to Shave alot of hours off when its on the CG Flim Part Open the Disc tray and Take out the game and put it back in again.

Nah, I never tried it. I beat the game without it so...yeah. But if I was one of those people who wanted 100% complete in a game, then I would try.

OK so it seems like the only people who did it are the ones who put a FAQ or guide on gamefaqs.

i have heard that if you want the excallubur II you have to impress 100/100 nobles in the battle scene with blanc in alexandria at the start of the game. Otherwise it is a forfit and you cannot get the weapon even if you complete the game in under 12 hours.
