As you know the PS3 will be released November 17th in Europe and North America.

I really can't wait for this, I've got a 60GB one pre-ordered for Christmas, I'm so excited about the new games such as Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry 4, Tony Hawks Project 8, Resistance, Final Fantasy XIII, Heavenly Sword, Metal Gear Solid 4, and loads more. The graphics engine looks stunning and has impressed me highly. This console is proven to be more powerful than the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and the older PS2.

Opinions on the mighty PS3?

Too expensive atm for me without a job. Not to mention its gonna be the 360 all over again with mobs of people swarming to get it and such. Gonna be a mess at first. I do plan on getting one when the price drops a bit and they're not in such high demand, like the 360 atm.

I'm looking forward to Wii as well, but again I'm gonna wait on it until the demand drops.

I almost sure that I will get a PlayStation 3, but when I don't know. I think when the price has dropped, cause € 599,- is really expansive for me currently. And when some intresting games has hit the shelves.

I'll get one when GTA4 comes out. So far that is the only game I want.

I'll get one when I have a spare £500 lurking, or when people realise that there's a difference between the dollar, the euro and the GB pound.

And maybe when Sony stops thieving stuff from the wii :P

im sure gonna buy it... i cant just imagine how games will be...
but i dont know any game that is beind developed to it, i mean that will be released when the ps3 comes out....

i heard somewhere that the release price is $600 0_o I personally am going to wait to get the PS3 and go with the wii (gotta love red steel and zelda)

Release price in the US is $599

Release price in Europe is €599 ($766)

Release price in the UK is £425 ($809)

When these people learn that the GB£ is different to the euro and the dollar, I'll be a happy man.

You know when the original xbox was released, it was the same price in pounds that it was in dollars? That means that at the exchange rates at the time, it cost almost twice as much to buy in the UK.


I think it's the wii for me. Nintendo even announced that they'd actually charge the UK the RIGHT MONEY :O:O:O

as ive heard there is only going to be at limited stock and sony is going to stop production of the sony playstation 3 so if you want one get one as soon as possible if you have £425 sitting around somewhere.
