Hey, I need some tips on a lot of hunts. First off, Pylraster, the big dinosaur that hits 9999? Yeah, what the crap? I can get him down to where you can't even see his health anymore and he's blinking like crazy, but like all bosses, he freaks out and gets harder. Hints please.

Pylraster hits 9999? I don't remember him being THAT strong...
Or maybe you're trying to confront him unprepared. If you're in a low party level, come back later.
Otherwise, if he just plain annoys you, you can try optimizing your Gambits. Try Curaja on a character with less than half of his/her HP and use Bravery, Faith and Haste (if you have a Zodiac Spear or a Tournesol, this can help you a lot!)

And for gambits i agree with Rasler, Curaja at 30% is somewhat better though, and if you don't have Tournesol or Zodiac you can use the Excalibur to some extent, and Ultima Blade does some good also, he didn't take long for me even thought he has about 400K-500K hp.
